Please post more and/or the entire discussion. So riveting and long overdue, the caribbean influence on the MCing element of hip hop, not just Jamaicans, but also Puerto Ricans, etc. For those who study early NY hip hop, the signatures of Jamaican dancehall stylings are so all over hip hop. We are the same people in almost every way, so it's not an us vs. them affair, but rather an expose of the fusing of Jamaican rebelliousness, via music with other brothers and sisters abroad.
