  • You also have to not be bothered being in close proximity to human blood, rotting flesh, faeces & other disgusting, often smelly, matter. My sister is a forensic pathologist & loves her job... But then I remember when we were kids she used to pick her nose, wipe the snot on her bedside table, wait till it went hard, then chisel it off with her fingernails & only then use a tissue to sweep it up & throw it out. She'll go home after a bad decomp case, whack some ribs on & eat without showering.

  • i got inspired to enter this field because of my crime fighting & solving influences as a kid- superheroes like batman, scooby-doo, the Saw series, The Bone Collector, Sherlock Holmes, Guess Who board game

  • thanks for the imput im looking to become a forensic scientists i didnt know you need to obtain a degree in something else i thought there was a degree especislly for forensic science. criminology sounds good to me

    yes there are degrees just in forensic science also forensic investigation and criminology which is more the law side of things. go for it, i did :)
