If Uruguay did not qualify and Costa Rica defeated them, it is actually a very different. Costa Rica can't be in Group A because of Mexico (CONCACAF). Then Groups will really be changed, so they have no choice to move New Zealand for space for Costa Rica. New Zealand might be drawn to Group A. That possibly put either any team. Mexico would face South Korea or Ghana. That meant either Mexico, South Korea, Ghana, or USA to be the 3rd time a non-south america or europe. maybe mexico can be 4th.

As for Howard, Brad Friedel is the better keeper imho. He's one of the Premier league's most consistent keepers in history. You also have a young keeper comign through in Brad Guzan.
