@Thisbloodypave Check your history. Mods came in the Mid 60's, next were Hard Mods/Peanuts around '67, Skinheads came in '68, Suedeheads/Bootboys in '71/'72. The Football Hooligans of the late 70's were mostly part of the Skinhead revival scene. When cops started targeting skinheads, many started dressing in foreign designer clothing to avoid detection of the police, therefore starting the Casual subculture in the early 80's. So as I said, Casuals came out of the Skinhead scene.

That doesn't change the fact, though, that the Casual sub-culture itself came out of the Skinhead subculture. Not all Skinheads were Mods at first but noone denies that the scene has it's roots in Mod culture.

This is awful. It's difficult to say something positive about this. Congrats to Lars that he's made it to a point where he can devote time and energy to a vanity project like this, he's earned it no doubt. But this band, to me, is a disappointment.

@bohsgerry im from detroit, & ive only been to the u.k. once, so i dont have a clue about football, but i read an interview with lars where he said they dont use the millwalls logo, that somehow somebody keeps uploading it to the internet w/o permission. no idea what any of that means, except that lars doesnt use the logo, but people who post the bands stuff online do. whatever, i just hate the chicago blackhawks.

If you like this sound: I like it as well but I prefer Oi Polloi or Hard skin, they have better songs and less posing and better humor. Besides, this particular song here sounds like Turbonegro meets Rancid and not too much like a real Oi streetpunk anthem to me. thank you anyway, good band.

This is awful. It's difficult to say something positive about this. Congrats to Lars that he's made it to a point where he can devote time and energy to a vanity project like this, he's earned it no doubt. But this band, to me, is a disappointment.

Let's see... Lars went from street punk to biker and now he's an early 80's style wannabe British skinhead. I really dunno what to think about this. Who becomes a skin at the age of 38? Midlife crisis maybe? Old Firm Casuals... most Americans prob don't get the connotations of that name. And it's complete with a football style scarf with the band logo. I'm actually embarrassed for Lars. He wants to be British so bad it's pathetic.

good song but as an old football skin from dublin ireland i think lars should read the jeff turner cockney rejects book,or see the shit hard skin from london get cos they're openly millwall.then lars uses millwalls lions logo?????my tem bohs have oi and other bands but would never disply team colours here because of rival dublin skins or casuals-shelbourne,shamrock rovers-or teams from other parts of ireland.not trying to slag you and good oi music-but the logo???????

@bohsgerry im from detroit, & ive only been to the u.k. once, so i dont have a clue about football, but i read an interview with lars where he said they dont use the millwalls logo, that somehow somebody keeps uploading it to the internet w/o permission. no idea what any of that means, except that lars doesnt use the logo, but people who post the bands stuff online do. whatever, i just hate the chicago blackhawks.
