someone asked me if i found this guy hot and i was like oh im gay and he was an obviously gay guy and from that point on he would say "OMG hey my lesbian friend!" its like why must you say it in front of everyone?

this kid I know used to introduce me as 'his best lesbian friend' sometimes, and I hated it, even though I was out because it insinuates there's some kind of separation between your gay friends and your straight friends. I don't want people to think the most interesting thing about me is I'm gay.
