hi from shelburne, ontario. Gonna make me one of these. Also working on a solar oven and a parabolic fryer/water boiler. Always good to be prepared. My brother lived in ottawa without heat for two weeks during that ice storm. Just his propane neon glass burner. He would have liked one of these : p
Unfortunately however good the content is, the guy is just into obvious detail that the watcher has figured out but must suffer through him talking and nit-picking. It['s painful to watch him and the "it has to be perfect" and then LISTEN to say how it has to be perfect
@gbourlo Yes that seems like it. You always have the option to turn the video off. It's still part of the freedom of choice you have. I'll be sure to mention it in my next video. Thanks for constructive criticism. Buh Bye now,a and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
In one breathyou take the criticism then act like a child in the next.
Listen asswipe, the purpose of your video is to get people to watch it. I thought the content was very good and informative. What was not good is the presentation by a person who is wrapped up in his own ego, you proved my point thanks. More presentation less ego and you'll have video some people might not turn off. YOu have 2k views in 11 months, check out the others and take an inventory of your shortcomings
@gbourlo I don't have time to waste on you. Take your criticism elsewhere. This channel is not for people that are picky on how things are done or not done. You don't like it, don't watch it. There is certainly no need to waste your time with name calling. I have very little care for people using name calling as a device for achieving some sense of superiority. Get the message. That will be the last time I comment on your comments. You will simply be ignored for here on then.
You have no faults, gbourlo. Cut the childish baloney, already. He is giving us good information. Can't wait for your infantile reply, though. Should be pretty entertaining.
Yes I agree, i was fortunate, I saw a lot of other videos before i made my first, and thus was able to get the best techniques from the outset. Also, almost everyone has a phone book, and utility blades at home. All you need now is to store a few gallons of Fondue stove, and you are all set. Dollar stores in Canada carry that stuff, I don't know about the U.S. though. Cheers.
London! I bet you spend way to much money at Forest City Surplus.

poke the holes before putting the two halfs together and the cans are less likely to split from the compression of the air .

@cooldudewitpot That is a good idea. Hadn't thought of that. And there is always small screw drivers around, so it is easy to find one.

this is by far the best technique for cutting the can. I have tried using scissors and it gives a horrible jagged edge to the stove.
