I loved this song and he sang it great. Every song he did on American Idol was the best. I was certain he would be at the end. I was very disappointed but he will go places. @ilambmaj7 I totally agree with you! However, history has shown that often the most 'vanilla' contestant, ends up with the most votes when pitted against one with the "most personality".  Mid-America and the bible belt fear strong personalities and "dangerous sounds". I think it will be James and Scotty in the finale, and I fear that Scotty will get the most votes because he's young, "loves Jesus", and doesn't appear "dangerous" to any narrow 'right-wing' values or morals. ;(

@PhantomCityStudio james should've won, just as much as adam and daughtry should've won a couple seasons ago.. the only thing people don't understand with idol is the show is fixed.. the singers who WIN cannot get record deals on their own.. james already got his record deal when he got kicked off, just like daughtry did.. but they sign the idol contract and have to go on tour, so they can't announce the deal or sign it until the tour is over..
