@finalfantasygamer1 If you have a modded PS or PS2, you can burn the games (one per CD or DVD) and play them that way. Otherwise, get a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 emulator to use the files.
Well, that's the good thing about the torrent -- you can select which game you want to download. I downloaded 1 - 3 of them at a time in the span of a few months.
It doesn't take months to download the entire thing (unless you have a really crappy connection or no one seeds). :B I was just downloading the Pop'n stuff on and off. Depending on the speed of the uploader(s), I think you can get 9 within a few hours.
Are you using a router? You can set port forwarding through it. With the firewall, you have make it recognize the torrent program and incoming and outgoing ports are safe as well. Google for more info~!
Of course it's not perfect. :/ Not every game works with it. As for system requirements, I have no idea. I'm using a P4 540 3.2 GHz and a budget nVidia GeForce 8600 GT card on Windows XP Home Edition. I suppose the emu would have ran at faster frame rates if Fraps wasn't running.
Check out the official site (link in description and it should be without the ) at the end of it) for more info.
I'm building a MAME arcade machine and running PS2 games on it would be awesome. It'll run at a resolution of 800x600 or lower (cause it will be displayed on a TV tube, so I don't need a big resolution). The PC will just work with XP and emulators and no other programs. I try to find out which PC would be good enough for that, cuz I don't want to drop too much money on that...
Would you believe I'm getting nostalgia from this particular sequel? 9 was by far my favorite of the series.

do you still have the iso?
could i have it?

Not going to upload a 1.2 GB file, even in chunks. There's still someone seeding the Pop'n Music 1 - 13 collection torrent. Look for that.
koukoupuffs 3 years ago
as much as i want the collection, i really just want pop'n 9 ONLY. and i really don't want to get 19.95 GB for pnm9.
IREALLY WANT TO PLAY REQUIEMSOOOO MUCH!

I have no idea. I haven't tried yet and don't really plan to.

Pop'n 9 on an emulator? You need timing and precision on Pop'n. I wonder how horrible IIDX run on that.
Jouhaine 3 years ago
Just because IIDX looks shinier doesn't mean it will run any slower, they're probably in the same res...
Though the different amount of colour might make a tiny difference.
animekid200 3 years ago
I'm not talking about that kind of lag, I'm talking about timing precision. If you played IIDX, you know what I mean.

ah...
I've been spending too much time on tech forums...

Hi, does this emulator work perfect? What are the System requirements?

For ISOs and BIOSes, go to Google to torrent sites.
