NTSC DV is the American and Japanese screen setting for any movie you watch. In Europe, we use the PAL format. I don't know what it stands for, but if you are in Europe you need to use the PAL format because NTSC does not play on European DVD players and PAL doesn't play on American/Japanese DVD players.

NTSC= standard format for N American video. (National Television SAystem Committee) Britains is PAL I think? NTSC has 30 frames/sec whereas PAL is like 24 or something like that

@deyvonnmac For film, the US and Japan use NTSC = 29,97 frames per second I think. PAL is European and uses 25 frames per second. However, when a film is animated, the US uses 24 fps whereas Europe will stay with 25 fps. It's just different, there's no 'better'.

I'm no expert, but from what I know, if you click "RAM preview" then you should be able to hear the audio from parts, as well as a short part of the video in normal FPS. Just click the button that should look something like |||> (lol) and wait a bit for it to render.

IM ANGRY............ ********* GRRRRRRRRR!!! I've searched and searched and ********** searched on the net and can not find anything good on rendering. I've rendered 10 times all with fail, changing settings. The first try it was a 1GB file for a 15 second clip, the next time i compressed it and it was 80mb but it was a grey schreen!, the next attempt it was small and squished FFS FFS FFS rendering doesn't work! you cannot fucking render in after a fuckign fex!
