I have a Gibson ES 175, Custom Shop Fender Strat Reissue, an LSL Tele., and a D35 Martin. Those are the only guitars I own. The rest of the guitars in the videos are all borrowed for the reviews. Thanks for your interest.
The pentatonic scale is ancient and probably found in most cultures. In Asia it's all over the place so Pakis, as you say, are not far away. Thanks for your interest. John
actulay im not a paki. i was just jokin around. im actually indian/british/portuguese. but no matter what iam i know that one things for sure, I LOVE TO ROCK AND ROLL ALL NITE AND PARTY EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what? i like em, feels like we're sitting right with him in the room :) although the volume levels of the guitar and voice being very different gets noticed..
OK Let me address this. My favorite recordings of the best music are terrible. The world's greatest recording does not make up for shit-house music. If there is one good point made on any of these videos and someone gets it, job well done. I'm going to bust out one of these days and put the guitar in front of the music. then you can say I suck and I'll understand. But when people look at a coin and don't know how to spend it that's sad. Learn this shit and play music with it, please! OK?
How many guitars does this guy have!!

Thanks John - a good suggestion on how to explore beyond the given sequence of notes in a scale!
mathmatika 2 years ago
does that "different" sound depend on the different notes that you start from the scale? like mixo or dori and etc?

How's the idea going? Help?

@johnhguitar I understand that Matinee310 is now working on Symphony #47 and it is still based on the major scale riff!
