  • i own a small transport company and have put ZX1 in all my vehicles buses, rolls royce chrysler 300c, my goldwing. i have never had a engine fail in the 8yrs i have used it.FACT

  • Iron is the only thing that will benefit from this, mainly the cylinder, (providing its not aluminium). Iron chloride with the presence of carbon can provide a more pressure tolerant surface, giving you slightly less wear when it comes down to pressure. However, this product, when creating these bonds, can give off some nasty acids, furthermore destroying the bearings, benefiting from one moving part isnt going to help you when your bearings are turning into buiscuits.

  • After more research, I can conclude that the reason its doing this is because a carbon containing haldide is being created on the surface. The manufacturers claim after their "special test" with copper, that its heavier, thus, a magic layer is protecting it, wrong, that layer is copper chloride, ZX-1 will provide most metals with a chloride surface. For things like bearings, rings and bushings, this will irradicate any type of lubrication. I will post again with further info.

  • He estado usando zx1 durante casi 20 años en mi todos los motores de carrera y nunca he tenido un problema de lubricación. después de haber ganado más de 200 carreras que los resultados hablan por sí mismos.

  • Well d'ya know what? i have used zx1 for years in all my engines with no problems at all, upon a strip down for uprated parts to be fitted i have always found my engines to be in excellent condition internally (i am a vehicle technician), extralube zx1 does not harm your engine thats a fact! The only engine which i did not use zx1 with destroyed its crankshaft, so once again as it has proven to me, running zx1 in your engine is actually good for protecting it and greatly increases longlevity.

  • I have used this in my VZ800 motorycle bought in 1999 50k on the clock with no ill effects whatsoever if anything gearchanges are smoother and a slight increase in power this test doesn't prove anything to me

  • Team ZX1 have test results that conclude that Extralube ZX1 is not corrosive to copper. if you are interested in seeing these results please email info@team-zx1.com.

  • Its full of chlorinated Hydrocarbons, in an engine, it reacts with the metals (corrosion) forming a protective barrier, that only lasts so long, it forms Hydrochloric acid, and continually replaces the oxide layer, which in turn is continually corroding the metal parts, the additives that prevent corrosion, only last so long as it reacts with just about everythng in an engine including oil. Short term, it produces desirable effects, but long term, it eats the engine away, pointless to use.

  • @rovex32 It would be great in your gearbox then, with copper based alloys, after a hot run and it settles out, say good bye to whatever is in the neat part.
