... he's not waiting at all... but actually plays some samples and pre-recorded sequences... real-time filtering/effect fucntion on the tactil pad is not used in this video (but was used -- just a step before with the same set-up -- to create and mix the samples you hear)... but you are right, this "toy" is also very helpful when manipulated directly (as the second one on the left)... I just work step-by-step ... one machine after another... best wishes...
