Not a fake, really happened, do a little google work. Many aerobatic planes have a high horsepower to weight ratio. Skilled pilot who kept his cool.

@murdterlaw im agree with u on the fact it happen to other and survive but that one is clairly a fake u can see how the 3D effect is not match with the background at some point but it really well done for a fake.

It's not a model in my opinion. Just a nicely done fake.

At second 46 you can see the plane spinning down, but with the remaining wing below which is not possible, even with a model.

Besides, the way it bounces when landing is clearly not obeying the laws of inertia.

There is a video arond showing a similar flight with a model. That one is not a fake, but you can see it landing on the side, slightly damaging the tail.

it is a fake, if you look at the angles they aren't the same, but you can land a stunt plan with 1 wing, they have a high power to weight ratio, and can often hang in a stall, and because of that they can lower themselves like a helicopter to the ground, but besides that i can definitely see this is a fake.

I'm the pilot of the plane. Wasn't fake or a pub stunt. Experimental aircraft built by local guy. I actually blew the wing off because I bet him 500pounds I could still land the plane. He still owes me the money--cheeky bastard.

Yep fake. You can tell most of the footage is of a RC plane. After the landing it is edited back to real footage
