  • Why couldn't my statistics professor make ANOVA seem this easy? Your students are very lucky to have their levels of frustration reduced by such a clear and thorough teacher! I know lots of people in my class could use this video (and luckily someone linked it from our FB page).

  • Thanks for this very clear explanation. I'm hoping to see more of your materials!

  • THANK YOU Dr. Kelley. I learned more in 9 minutes watching this video than I did in weeks in a statistics class.

  • very nice explanation.

  • hi ProfKelley ,

thank you for your videos! one question: where does the p-value at 7:15 come from? i didnt get the transition from F to now p. (or anyone else) thanks in advance!!

  • @bernd9000 you can use Excel to do an ANOVA test and it will calculate the p-value as well.

  • Hi prof i thought this was brilliant!!! really helpful, for this first time i am understanding ANOVA, even though i have been thru a reseach and stats course. have you got more videos, a website or have your thought of writing a book.

I hate stats but at least i understand it now!

  • AMAzing explanation better than my professor ^^!

  • Great tutorial

  • Thank you for posting this great video.

  • Thanks. That was helpful. I shouldn't have waited so late in the class to actually start learning this stuff but your videos are seriously helping.

  • Good explanation

  • Didn't know statistics could be taught in such easy to understand language. I really admire your skills as a teacher.

  • Extremely Helpful.

This is the most informative and easily understandable explanation I have seen for ANOVA.

    Thank you

  • Thanks for the great video.

  • Thank you Professor. You helped us with our papers. :-)

  • Very well done.

  • fantastic job man, i wish you were my prof. actually I will recommend this video to my classmates. My prof has a thick Russian accent and he tries to put examples related to the revolution in in-class assignment. thanks for the wonderful explanation. keep up the good work

  • This is a wonderful video and you're wonderful too

  • this was really useful, much more straightforward to me than some of the other videos I've watched. anova has been bugging me for the past three hours - wish i'd seen this video first! :)

  • I was thinking of borrowing a research method book from library and learning ANOVA..and then this thought crossed in my mind :there is must be on youtube, easy , fun way to learn ANOVA because it incorporates audio and video. I have found this tutorial is much better than lecture in the class because everytime you do not understand, you can always repeat and replay...Thanks Prof Kelley , thanks youtube...

  • Never thought I'd get the idea of ANOVA, great job! Keep posting!

  • Very clear, and helpful, much better than my university professor.

  • Hi, i got confused with the statement at 3:14. "The larger the overlap, the bigger the F statistic." Shouldn't it be an inverse relationship like what the other slides say?

Thanks for putting this up. Very informative.

  • Yes- you are right.

  • Many Thanks !! This is gr8.

  • Thank you. Unfortunately I never had this in my statistics class and it always bothered me that my professor skipped this portion of our text.

  • superb!!!!

  • very helpful!

    many thanks!!!

  • Thanks dear

    you make a good sense

Plz also teach about principal component analysis in a very easy manner as u adopt in case of ANOVA

  • very helpful!

  • Excellent illustrations and information. Good voice too, makes a big difference! Thank you very much indeed. Good job.
