@MAttsplat1975 well its your gun, i want to know why you would spend close to 4 grand on this particular rifle or bullpup? If i was going for a bullpup even thoe i wouldnt, i would get the Tavor. Its to has an integrated optic, but better. its bore sited n dosnt remov. its built in the safety to concerve its battery. the Tavor its lighter with a longer barrel which means longer effective range, a higer rate of fire. n sorry but that gun is catastrophically ugly.
@santomo0206 Do more research, man. The Tavor is not even being sold in the US and what do you do when you transition from right to left hand shooting? Pull out your tool kit and disassemble your rifle to you can change the ejection port to the other side. If you like the look of the Tavor, get one, but in my opinion when it comes to better looking guns, the Tavor definitely isn't it. I don't mind criticism but yours just seems silly. But to each his own.
@gabebokmaUSMC I got mine from a place called Red's Trading Post out of Idaho. You can do a search for it. I am not sure if you can find one quite that cheap but good luck. Shoot safe.
thanks man, ya im looking to get this rifle instead of the POS Bushmaster ACR i got, problems already starting lol. have u had any problems with this gun???
@gabebokmaUSMC Just some mag compatibility issues. I am told that if you take the dust seal out of the mag well, it solves those issues. I just haven't taken the time to take it out and test it. I should, but I have been reviewing and shooting so many other guns and equipment that it has kind of taken a back seat. I would go to a local gun shop and handle the FS2000. If you like the feel, get it.
@Mattsplat1975 I'm currently in the market to purchase and I'm very interested in the FS2000 I currently own the Scar as well as the PS90 and I love them both. Very reliable accurate and just over all amazing weapons. My question is how reliable is the FS2000? Any problems with jams? Ejector problems anything like that noticeably coming from the manufacturer?
@JoeDirtESTD Sorry for the delayed reply, I was on vacation. The FS2000 has an enclosed bolt system that is very different from an AR-type design. With the FN magazines I haven't had any issues but I have had some issues with other mags. Some magazines won't fit right and that has caused problems for me but I have been told pulling the dust-seal out of the mag well fixes it. FN makes very tight guns to keep dirt out and that seal helps keep things clean.
@USMCG0811 Polymer mags have had a hard time seating for me. I am told that you just need to remove the dust ring up inside the magwell and it will take them just fine. I just haven't gotten around to removing mine yet. Retail is just under $2000 these days from what I saw.
I love my FS2000 but one of the nice things about the SCAR is that it is a little more versatile and will take all the same AR stuff. If I had the money I might get the SCAR instead.
Thanks for the reply, mate. I came over to the States from New Zealand after 9/11 to join the military and we have some pretty restrictive firearms laws there, though not as bad as the UK, most of Europe and OZ. So being able to own one of these weapons is great. At present, I'm stuck between the ACR, F2000, and the SCAR-C. Choices choices...
@USMCG0811 Me personally, I would go for the SCAR. I handled the SCAR and the ACR side-by-side at the gun shop one day and the SCAR is WAY better balanced. According to some of the gun-store guys the ACR was supposed to have a polymer upper in the original design but they had a hard time manufacturing it and deadlines came up so they just bagged the idea and did metal. The result is a more front-heavy rifle. Go handle them yourself and see what you think. Let me know what you choose!
Wouldn't keeping the mag loaded all the time weaken the spring and cause it to not load the ammo as fast as it could? Also my sling didn't come with that little black thing behind the buckle on the right side of your gun and my sling doesn't exactly fit all the way around my gun. What deos that black thing do exactly?
@andrefromnguyen I have heard the mag-spring issue before and I have asked professionals about it as well. Here is the answer from people who know...Mag spring tension issues in modern firearms isn't an issue. I have an HK mag for the USP compact 9mm that has been loaded for 10 years and still first flawlessly as fast as you can shoot. Old school springs might weaken but new ones relax a little stabilize and maintain enough to do the job reliably.
@andrefromnguyen It sounds like you are talking about the black buckle. If yours doesn't look like mine then you might have a different model harness or you might have hooked yours up wrong. Do a search for Urban E.R.T. slings and the FS2000 and you can watch a good instructional video on how to set it up.
Matt, can you tell me the difference between a 5.56mm and a .223? I know you said they were basically the same, but I was at the gun store with my dad, and they said that you can shoot a .223 in a 5.56mm, but not the other way around? They also said it was like a .357, where you can shoot .38's out of it, but not the other way around.
@TheForestKan The difference, from what I have been told is all about how far the bullet sits forward and where it makes contact with the rifling of the barrel. The 5.56 sticks out a little further. This means that if you put a 5.56 in a gun chambered for .223 it will have a harder time overcoming the friction caused by touching the rifling and it will cause the pressure to spike.
@TheForestKan ....ran out of room. Putting a .223 in a 5.56 chambered rifle is ok because there is just a bigger gap between the bullet and the lands (lands are the raised parts of the rifling). This is ok because the bullet just jumps the gap and accelerates quickly. It is a little less accurate maybe, but not unsafe. I hope that makes sense and answers your question.
@Psycholistic1 Yeah, it did. Check out my channel and you will see a much newer video with good lighting. I replaced the factory charging handle with a metal after-market one. Much better. Check it out.
If you fire straight up with the gun the casings will be pushed up and out of the ejection port by other casings as they keep being fired. It will not cause the rifle to jam. Regardless, shooting straight up is stupid.
@QQ20034 I have never tried, but I don't think it will be an issue at all. I have shot up at a pretty steep angle at some rocks in a canyon, not straight up but maybe at a 45 degree angle. It had no issues at all.
@gabebokmaUSMC Real estate in Utah is very reasonable and the skiing is great. Come move here! We LOVE guns in Utah and we have some of the best gun laws in the country. The Brady Campaign gave us a score of 0 out of 5. I am so proud. Ha ha.
@MultiSr16 Yeah, I thought it looked cool with it. It isn't a really great optic but it sure looks sweet up there. You can always pop it off and put on something else if you want too. There is a full rail under that housing.
@Mattsplat1975 yea dude, stay with it, alot of full duty combat optics look kinda crappy., theyre jus all about durability., my aimpoint m4s with 3x magnifier looks like shit, but i bet you can break it.., if i had this rifle you couldnt pay me enough to pull this factory scope offa her., doesnt it have tritium to illuminate the already bad ass reticule.., keep it., bet youll never see another one., not like some shitty eotech where everybodies got em., shes for 1 thing,. shooting at people...:)
@FALTUS89 Urban E.R.T. has a website. Look it up. A google search should find it easily. The guy I talked to there (Matt) was a super nice guy and very helpful.
hey man. i have been saving ujp money for a long time and i finally have enough money to buy a CIVILIAN version of the fn2000. Is the one you are showing a civilian version? most civilian fn2000's i have seen have a picitiny flat top railing system on the top of the gun, yours actually has a built in 1.6 power scope, which i have never seen. I was wondering if you could let me know where i could buy one exactly like yours? please get back with me as soon as you can. I appreciate it, thank you.
@wbysniper Looks like they are getting harder to find. I did do a little research for you though. If you go to gunsamerica and do a search for "FS2000" the first one on the list is just like mine. Oh and just to clarify, all FS2000's are the civilian legal version. The "S" in "FS" is for "semi-automatic" The full auto version is simply the F2000. Good luck. Hurry, that one I saw on gunsamerica was only $2200. That is a good price.
@wbysniper The FS2000 Standard is the one in the video. It has a 1.6x scope with decorative shroud, beneath the shroud is the scope which is mounted to a polymer picatinny rail.
The FS2000 Tactical is the other version which lacks a scope, but instead has a metal picatinny rail for mounting optics. It comes with no scope, but does have back-up iron sights...

omg thats illegal in the US!, they only sell the civilian version fn 2000 with no 40 mm launcherO_O/.... oh wait mai bad I thought there was a launcher, too black I cant see nice toy thought it was real.
@ongolos This is not a toy. I know there is a very realistic airsoft gun. This is the real FS2000 (not the F2000 which is the full auto verson) .And sorry about the lighting. I have improve the lighting in my newer videos.

@Twisteddreamer78 This rifle is picky with magazines. Standard mags work just fine but I had problems with a polymer mag I tried to use. It might be tough to find one that will work.
@GoldNCase Yes, it has a standard rail under the cover. The stock for the FS2000 is wider than, say an AR, so some might think it feels "bulky" at first. After you handle it a few minutes you will get very used to it. I definitely prefer the feel to an AR. The mag release is much more intuitive than an AR and it is ambidextrous. If you choose this over the MSAR I think you will be pleased.
@564955charlie In the end it is a rifle that shoots bullets. It is the design that you are buying here. If you are left handed you will love it because the shells eject from the front and not in your face. The compact design makes it nice too. I prefer it, but everyone has their own preference. But as far as looks go and coolness factor, yeah, it is the most bad-ass gun around (to me).
Here's a suggestion for you. Don't leave your mags loaded all the time. The constant tension on the spring will lead to malfunctions and jams. If you have multiple mags then alternate between loading one and having the other empty. Same with your semi-auto pistols. Your concealed carry gun isn't much help if you need it and it jams after the first shot.
Anyway, sweet rifle. A little expensive, but still very nice.
@ghogandantis It has a different feel than an AR but it is very very nice. Just under 8 pounds in weight.
Sorry, but I am going to have to absolutely disagree about the mags. This question was brought up during firearms training with all the trainers standing around (and these men were experts). The answer was it isn't something you need to worry about at all and that it won't ever be an issue with todays springs. "If it makes you feel better you can unload it now and then", one said.
Thanks for the post. I've got an ERT sling for my PS90. I don't have a real use for my sling either. Comes in handy on the range I guess. Just looks just so freakin' cool! Getting my FS2000 in 2 weeks, OD green.
How much is the gun cuz me and my dad are huge gun favs and love to shoot and he says it like $2000 to $3000 im just wonderin if thats true and also thank you for puting up a real gun revew unlike that airsoft garbage!!!
@TahuStar147 You can usually find them (new) for around $1900-$2300USD. Up in Canada, I bought a non-restricted version (special 18.7' barrel) and it cost me $3400.. then with GST it came to around $3600. The restricted versions were $2900 (before GST). So.. you guys are getting a deal down there.. well, it's more like we're getting screwed up here due to the gun laws!
@mandalore1000 I wish I had a better answer for you. To be honest this is the only one I have used. Just in front of the scope housing is an attached sling loop. The stock has a small slit on the bottom that you can feed a strap through for the sling. The sling you see on the video utilizes this strap mount to keep the whole thing from moving around. You could probably use any old sling and it would work fine as a two-point sling.
@mandalore1000 FN makes a 3-point sling specific for the FS2000 (serial number 3830147520). I have one coming in... but I have yet to see a photo of one actually on an FS2000...
@p8ntballtrav Nope. Runs like a champ. I haven't had any jam problems at all. I did have some compatible magazine problems with a polymer magazine. But the standard AR mags run without a problem. But the forward ejection has never failed. There are other rifles going to this same forward ejection system too.
Dude, thanks for posting this. it;s nice to see a real FNH-FS2000. there are so many airsoft reviews, and airsoft isnt shit as far as mechanisms. its nice to see the guts of a real FN2000.
@mcxznbv No problem. I remember when I was first researching the FS2000 I found some video and I watched it forever before I realized it was a stupid airsoft gun. The guy pulled out a battery pack from the stock and I was like "What the hell?" I shouldn't have known when I heard his British accent. Those guys love toys because they can't own the real guns.
@Transporter1022 Wow, sorry about that. I got some bad information somewhere along the line and being right-handed I never had the need to look into it. Thanks for the comment!
@mattifikation It is a pretty big rifle. Feels a little bulky in your hands when you first pick it up.....and then it feels like heaven. Love this gun.
@italianbadboy17 Yeah, I bought it with the factory scope because of the same reason. I thought it looked really cool. I love my FS2000, it is a great gun. The PS90 is my favorite but the FS2000 is a great gun if you want to shoot something more powerful. Love it, love it.
This is the best looking gun I have ever seen. The bullpup makes the gun pretty short when you compare it with its barrel. But in my contry ill never get such a gun. I think I'll emigrate to the USA. JOKE. I'll buy it from G&G (an airsoft-company) and will be happy.
@PunchRockGroin EXCELLENT question and one that many people have asked before. The answer is that with todays springs, no. I have magazines for my H&K USP Compact that have been loaded for 8 years or more without spending more than a few moments unloaded. They still function flawlessly with plenty of tension. Thanks for asking!
oh and forgot too add that magazine problem is because it was originaly made for spec opps. and i do know that the british SAS use them im not sure if they still do but i know they did
@1876alamo I haven't. Just .223 But I have talked to experts at the gun shop and researched it quite a bit. Some data says that the 5.56 will eek out a teeeeeeeeny bit more FPS. The shape of the cartridge is imperceptibly different. I am no expert on this and if there are any out there, maybe they can chime in on the subject and shed more light on it. But the long and short of it is that you can consider it the same and you won't notice a difference.
@1876alamo Another thing I should mention. Those firearms chambered in 5.56 can accept .223 but it the manuals say that those chambered in .223 should not use 5.56. I think this is because either the bottleneck or the bullet itself is just a bit longer or maybe the angle of the bottle neck on the casing is a slightly different angle. Once again anyone who knows for sure, please comment and help clarify the exact facts of the matter.
Hey, great job on all the vids man! Support FNH right on- great weapons. Excellent commentary- good on details; good man. I have a question about the FNH FS2000 and no one seems to know it, so hopefully you will... Does it accept the 100 round 5.56 beta C mag?
I wish I knew, man. Sorry. What I can tell you is that the mag well for the FS2000 is much deeper than an AR. I had a problem with polymer see through mag that had ridges to help you get a good grip. The ridges on the mag made it fight too tight and i had to grind them off with a Dremel tool to get it to fit.
They are both great guns. The PS90 is my favorite gun of all. If I had to choose just one, it would be the PS90. I can shoot quicker, more accurately, and be back on target faster with the PS90. The PS90 is also SUPER compact. Even with the factory barrel it is a tiny little gun. It is easier to field strip and clean as well. But if caliber is an issue another person might want the .233/5.56. But like I said, choosing just one, I choose the PS90.
It is hard to describe the feel of the gun. It feels different because the shape is so different from other guns. It has a boxy but comfortable feel to it. All the weight of the gun is between your hands which is unlike a standard rifle or an AR that has a long barrel sticking out the front. With the center of gravity being so close to your body it is easy to swing this gun around and get on target. Go to your gunstore and pick one up and see what I mean. I really like it though.
No you don't, my friend. There is nothing illegal about this gun. I think some of the absolutely stupid Californian communist laws might restrict this gun for some even more stupid reason but if you live in a free state you can own one.
I don't know where you live but that is really sad. Why would your country allow you to protect yourself "just a little". Seems ignorant to me. Anyway, certain weapons such as short barreled assault rifles and full-auto machine guns have classes that limit ownership and require a sort of permit or "stamp". Short barreled rifles fall under Class 2 and Class 3 would be for fully automatic weapons.
I very much enjoy the F2000, I have my Class III and enjoy the 5.56 at the range, the forward ejection of the casings is a blessing from firearms... As far as RomTheSpaceKnight arguing that firearms are bad, I agree and disagree. I myself being a connoisseur of guns own some for target practice, teaching people marksmanship, some for work, some to carry, some for home defense, and some for competition. Guns do NOT kill people, people kill people, if it is not guns its knives or worse!
Glad to hear you store them in a safe locker, but the short barrel design of that weapon is a haunting statement that its only utility is to kill your neighbors or the police with. Go ahead and delete this rude statement too, it demonstrates how fragile your perspective is when your instincts run to censorship as a best choice solution. Ideas are bulletproof, and you know the good guys because they're good not because they're packing heat. Thpppt!
Saying that a short barrel rifles "ONLY UTILITY" (bold added), is just an ignorant thing to say, Rom, and you know it. The compact features of an SBR that you claim make it dangerous to my neighbors are the features that make it an excellent home defense weapon. And I assure you, my neighbors have nothing to fear from me and I hope they have the same safe and guns in their homes. I don't want any criminal doing anything in my neighborhood to the good people that live here.
I respect you view, but the person wielding the weapon decides it's use, it is not determined by barrel length, optics, etc. I've seen people hunt with pistols and people defend their homes with full size rifles. To have another person (IE, the government) decide what guns are sufficient for me to use to defend myself is an insult to my intelligence and my rights. The day I have my own personal police officer to escort me everywhere is the day I shall relinquish my right to own firearms.
Cities where the populace was armed like Tombstone and Dodge were not places people cared to live, and they actively employed gunmen like Wyatt Earp to put an end to the ubiquitous firearms destroying their towns.
Reagan and the best "marksmen". I remember that from last time. I thought you were a kid because of that comment. Maybe you are, I don't know. But making a statement like that is a little bit ignorant. Being a good marksman has little to do with being a bodyguard. The reason Reagan was shot was simple complacency. Nobody learned from JFK. The barrel of that revolver was inches from Reagan when he was shot. It could have been a knife. There will always be a nutjob trying to hurt people out there.
I got a notice of buzbee's reply to whatever it was I was rude about last time and came to see what degree of rudeness warrented his little name calling but couldn't find whatever it was I said, so I watched your viddy again and it turned my stomache...more than likely again. An armed society is a polite society? Don't be absurd. Reagan was gunned down surrounded by the best marksmen in the world and those armed and ready sharpshooters were actively looking to prevent trouble.
I deleted your previous message because I thought you were a little kid. Some of the things you said made it seem so. I will leave you comments up for all to see, at least for a time. I don't really like negativity so I my choose to delete them after a time. I looked up your channel last time to see who you were or where you were coming from but there was nothing so I then deleted it. I'll reply more to your other comments above....
I was just wondering, CAN you remove the RDS, if you can, can you buy them anywhere because I have an airsoft version of this and would want one on mine, thanks!
Great review. I got one last month and love it. If you bought the standard FS around the same time or so, you should check to see if you can get the $250 rebate from FN.
On another note, I wish there were more accessories for it. But in the end, I don't need it. Like you, I'm not police or some sort of operative. I just think this stuff is awfully cool. Cheers.
Yeah it would be nice to have some accessories. I saw a flashlight mod on the FN forums that looks cool but I don't want to cut holes in my forgrip to do it. I just couldn't bring myself to drill into my baby.
rom the space knight is one of those people thats so insecure about himself he goes around talking shit about people he doesnt know to supress his worthlessness for a moment or two, o and this is a wonderful gun and very interesting video :)
Thanks. I appreciate it. That was the first person to write something rude to me. I was going to reply and try educate him/her but decided to just delete it instead. I am glad you did though. Thanks.
Yeah, sorry about that. I am not a die-hard YouTube person. I am only doing this as a service to help people make decisions on buying guns and for general information. I will try to do better next time though. Thanks for the input.

Hoping you can answer a question or two for me.
1. I'm active duty military and have a shitload of P-Mags. Are there any issues utilizing the P-Mags as opposed to the stock AR mags with it?
2. Whats the retail on it right now? I'm stuck between one of these and a SCAR-C.

Mattsplat1975 2 months ago
Wouldn't keeping the mag loaded all the time weaken the spring and cause it to not load the ammo as fast as it could? Also my sling didn't come with that little black thing behind the buckle on the right side of your gun and my sling doesn't exactly fit all the way around my gun. What deos that black thing do exactly?
andrefromnguyen 3 months ago
@andrefromnguyen I have heard the mag-spring issue before and I have asked professionals about it as well. Here is the answer from people who know...Mag spring tension issues in modern firearms isn't an issue. I have an HK mag for the USP compact 9mm that has been loaded for 10 years and still first flawlessly as fast as you can shoot. Old school springs might weaken but new ones relax a little stabilize and maintain enough to do the job reliably.
Mattsplat1975 3 months ago
@andrefromnguyen It sounds like you are talking about the black buckle. If yours doesn't look like mine then you might have a different model harness or you might have hooked yours up wrong. Do a search for Urban E.R.T. slings and the FS2000 and you can watch a good instructional video on how to set it up.

Great vid. Very informative and helpful. I appreciated your short speech at the end too.

TheForestKan 3 months ago
@TheForestKan The difference, from what I have been told is all about how far the bullet sits forward and where it makes contact with the rifling of the barrel. The 5.56 sticks out a little further. This means that if you put a 5.56 in a gun chambered for .223 it will have a harder time overcoming the friction caused by touching the rifling and it will cause the pressure to spike.
Mattsplat1975 3 months ago
@TheForestKan ....ran out of room. Putting a .223 in a 5.56 chambered rifle is ok because there is just a bigger gap between the bullet and the lands (lands are the raised parts of the rifling). This is ok because the bullet just jumps the gap and accelerates quickly. It is a little less accurate maybe, but not unsafe. I hope that makes sense and answers your question.
Mattsplat1975 3 months ago
@Mattsplat1975 Thanks, that does make sense.

@TheQ3XXX Great idea, man. I will try that.
Mattsplat1975 9 months ago
If you fire straight up with the gun the casings will be pushed up and out of the ejection port by other casings as they keep being fired. It will not cause the rifle to jam. Regardless, shooting straight up is stupid.
jpap967 9 months ago
@jpap967 Yeah, I am not about to go shooting straight up to see if it will jam on me. I will let that mystery remain a mystery.
Mattsplat1975 9 months ago
i m thinking how it eject when firing to sky.
QQ20034 10 months ago
@QQ20034 I have never tried, but I don't think it will be an issue at all. I have shot up at a pretty steep angle at some rocks in a canyon, not straight up but maybe at a 45 degree angle. It had no issues at all.
Mattsplat1975 9 months ago
@Mattsplat1975 i found fire full auto is most likely cause jamming, semi auto just work fine.

hey man. i have been saving ujp money for a long time and i finally have enough money to buy a CIVILIAN version of the fn2000. I appreciate it, thank you.
wbysniper 11 months ago
@wbysniper Looks like they are getting harder to find. I did do a little research for you though. If you go to gunsamerica and do a search for "FS2000" the first one on the list is just like mine. Oh and just to clarify, all FS2000's are the civilian legal version. The "S" in "FS" is for "semi-automatic" The full auto version is simply the F2000. Good luck. Hurry, that one I saw on gunsamerica was only $2200. That is a good price.

so can you remove the optic scope thingy? Does it have a rail like the FS2000 tactical underneath it?
sorry for the noob question.
I'm looking at guns, i want a bullpup, cant find a MTAR and debating over this and the MSAR STG 556.
This looks bulky but from what i heard its no problem its just the look.
GoldNCase 1 year ago
@GoldNCase Yes, it has a standard rail under the cover. The stock for the FS2000 is wider than, say an AR, so some might think it feels "bulky" at first. After you handle it a few minutes you will get very used to it. I definitely prefer the feel to an AR. The mag release is much more intuitive than an AR and it is ambidextrous. If you choose this over the MSAR I think you will be pleased.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@Mattsplat1975
Sweet you get a cool looking 1.6x scope and, so you can put other scopes too.

Such a badass gun. Knocks the socks off any AR im assuming?
564955charlie 1 year ago
@564955charlie In the end it is a rifle that shoots bullets. It is the design that you are buying here. If you are left handed you will love it because the shells eject from the front and not in your face. The compact design makes it nice too. I prefer it, but everyone has their own preference. But as far as looks go and coolness factor, yeah, it is the most bad-ass gun around (to me).
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
Here's a suggestion for you. Don't leave your mags loaded all the time. The constant tension on the spring will lead to malfunctions and jams. If you have multiple mags then alternate between loading one and having the other empty. Same with your semi-auto pistols. Your concealed carry gun isn't much help if you need it and it jams after the first shot.
Anyway, sweet rifle. A little expensive, but still very nice.
How much does it weigh? Looks pretty bulky.
ghogandantis 1 year ago
@ghogandantis It has a different feel than an AR but it is very very nice. Just under 8 pounds in weight.
Sorry, but I am going to have to absolutely disagree about the mags. This question was brought up during firearms training with all the trainers standing around (and these men were experts). The answer was it isn't something you need to worry about at all and that it won't ever be an issue with todays springs. "If it makes you feel better you can unload it now and then", one said.

Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@TahuStar147 You can usually find them (new) for around $1900-$2300USD. Up in Canada, I bought a non-restricted version (special 18.7' barrel) and it cost me $3400.. then with GST it came to around $3600. The restricted versions were $2900 (before GST). what kind of other slings can I use on this gun?
mandalore1000 1 year ago
@mandalore1000 I wish I had a better answer for you. To be honest this is the only one I have used. Just in front of the scope housing is an attached sling loop. The stock has a small slit on the bottom that you can feed a strap through for the sling. The sling you see on the video utilizes this strap mount to keep the whole thing from moving around. You could probably use any old sling and it would work fine as a two-point sling.
Mattsplat1975 1 year ago
@Mattsplat1975 thanks
mandalore1000 1 year ago
@mandalore1000 FN makes a 3-point sling specific for the FS2000 (serial number 3830147520). I have one coming in... but I have yet to see a photo of one actually on an FS2000...

p8ntballtrav 1 year ago
@p8ntballtrav Nope. Runs like a champ. I haven't had any jam problems at all. I did have some compatible magazine problems with a polymer magazine. But the standard AR mags run without a problem. But the forward ejection has never failed. There are other rifles going to this same forward ejection system too.

@mcxznbv No problem. I remember when I was first researching the FS2000 I found some video and I watched it forever before I realized it was a stupid airsoft gun. 1876alamo 2 years ago
Mattsplat1975 2 years ago
@1876alamo Another thing I should mention. Those firearms chambered in 5.56 can accept .223 but it the manuals say that those chambered in .223 should not use 5.56. I think this is because either the bottleneck or the bullet itself is just a bit longer or maybe the angle of the bottle neck on the casing is a slightly different angle. Once again anyone who knows for sure, please comment and help clarify the exact facts of the matter.
Mattsplat1975 2 years ago
Hey, great job on all the vids man! Support FNH right on- great weapons. Excellent commentary- good on details; good man. I have a question about the FNH FS2000 and no one seems to know it, so hopefully you will... Does it accept the 100 round 5.56 beta C mag?
astrocreeper2 2 years ago
I wish I knew, man. Sorry. What I can tell you is that the mag well for the FS2000 is much deeper than an AR. I had a problem with polymer see through mag that had ridges to help you get a good grip. The ridges on the mag made it fight too tight and i had to grind them off with a Dremel tool to get it to fit.
Mattsplat1975 2 years ago
Would you recommend this or a ps90? I personally love both
dman952 2 years ago
They are both great guns. The PS90 is my favorite gun of all. If I had to choose just one, it would be the PS90. I can shoot quicker, more accurately, and be back on target faster with the PS90. The PS90 is also SUPER compact. Even with the factory barrel it is a tiny little gun. It is easier to field strip and clean as well. But if caliber is an issue another person might want the .233/5.56. But like I said, choosing just one, I choose the PS90.
Mattsplat1975 2 years ago
Does the rifle with the integrated optic have the full top rail? not sure why it wouldn't but i figured i'd ask

Mattsplat1975 2 years ago
how ergonomic is the fs2000? also the length of pull.
fingersticks74 2 years ago
It is hard to describe the feel of the gun. It feels different because the shape is so different from other guns. It has a boxy but comfortable feel to it. All the weight of the gun is between your hands which is unlike a standard rifle or an AR that has a long barrel sticking out the front. With the center of gravity being so close to your body it is easy to swing this gun around and get on target. Go to your gunstore and pick one up and see what I mean. I really like it though.

stupidCIAagent 2 years ago

Guns do NOT kill people, people kill people, if it is not guns its knives or worse!
mmblock87 2 years ago
Glad to hear you store them in a safe locker, but the short barrel design of that weapon is a haunting statement that its only utility is to kill your neighbors or the police with. Go ahead and delete this rude statement too, it demonstrates how fragile your perspective is when your instincts run to censorship as a best choice solution. Ideas are bulletproof, and you know the good guys because they're good not because they're packing heat. Thpppt!
RomTheSpaceknight 2 years ago
Saying that a short barrel rifles "ONLY UTILITY" (bold added), is just an ignorant thing to say, Rom, and you know it. The compact features of an SBR that you claim make it dangerous to my neighbors are the features that make it an excellent home defense weapon. And I assure you, my neighbors have nothing to fear from me and I hope they have the same safe and guns in their homes. I don't want any criminal doing anything in my neighborhood to the good people that live here.
Mattsplat1975 2 years ago

Thanks. I appreciate it. That was the first person to write something rude to me. I was going to reply and try educate him/her but decided to just delete it instead. I am glad you did though. Thanks.

isnt that an expensive gun?
buzbee1991 2 years ago
Kind of. Everything is relative though. This rifle cost me around $2300.

Nice video but you need to work on your lighting.

Yeah, sorry about that. I am not a die-hard YouTube person. I am only doing this as a service to help people make decisions on buying guns and for general information. I will try to do better next time though. Thanks for the input.
