Hi,

I'm Mike, Mikayla's grandfather. I'm glad you enjoyed her performance. Mikayla spent her first two years as a sax player, with her sax in her hands whenever possible. She spent endless hours listening to great jazz and learning to play the songs she liked.

But perhaps the most helpful thing to her was exposure to a number of great musicians who encouraged her and advised her on various aspects of playing the sax.

Hablo español solamente un poquito. Our band director chooses our songs and he just happened to choose one with a Spanish sounding title.

yup..i first had the 2008 version wich is the straight one but then 1 day i was practicing and it literaly feel off my strap so then i got the curvy 1 and i already made a year with it :D
