I hate to pigeon-hole or catergorise but this aint really House, although this used to be played at parties where House/Detriot techno was being spun. Carly Simons track "why" was another one of those tracks that wasn't really 'House' but it was also being played in the same parties. Anyways just glad you appreciate this killa track.

HEY ! I booked ESG for the opening night for a club in NEW HOPE, PA. called ZADARS (1982) The second night was the "official" opening night with The Waitresses, but the band broke up that afternoon and never showed up, never called either - here I was opening night with no band and no explanation.

Thank God for the REAL first night with ESG! They blew the small crowd away ! This video was a pleasant surprise to find here on youtube ! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS LIVE VID !

this has nothing to do with house. I guess you weren't around in 80 when ESG emerged. It has more in common with punk/rap/mutant disco than house. It became a house track after the fact-but it's not a house track-maybe loft or garage, but house, highly questionable. "house" producers appropriated eSG songs, nothing more, nothing less.

ESG's first-ever visit to Japan—comes as part of Daikanyama club Unit's second anniversary. It's the result of the efforts of Unit's Shuichiro Sakaguchi, himself a musician (trumpeter with the group Double Famous) and fan of the group, who contacted them directly and invited them to perform.
