This was filmed at my Club layout, The Grand Strand Model Railroaders located in Myrtle Beach SC. We also now have a page on Facebook. This is the only place I can run my long Pig Train. I remember the transition period as a kid. My aunt had a farm here in SC located on the SAL EC division and I remember the merger In 1967 seeing former SAL locomtives with the new SCL patches and some already in the Black and Yellow. Also living on the ACL Myrtle Beach Branch you saw the transition.
You are making me want a model railroad bad! lol. I wish I could have seen this era myself but I was born right at the end of it and when I started watching trains it was already CSX but there was still alot of seaboard and chessie power to be seen.
Need to get an updated shot of this with the new track scenery put in.
