ANT...my niece also abused crystal meth and heroine for over 3 years. She has been clean and sober now for just over 9 years!!! She has a 5 year old and nearly one year old son and holds a steady job. I congratulate you on celebrating what is now 69 days and I look forward to hearing when you have reached day 70, 71, 72...etc, etc... Much positivity to you!
As I celebrate my Father's life (today was 2 years since he passed from cancer) I in that celebrate your LIFE! You are a BLESSING! Using the drugs that you did..you are a walking, talking, laughing MIRACLE! I am so so so so proud of you! You are an inspiration for ALL! Much love to you and to G! you are always in my thoughts and prayers!
A tablecloth and a perm. To Grandmother's house we go! Only kidding. The perm looks very becoming, but your "do's" never look wrong despite your tendency to think so. Enjoy the new life!!! I cannot even imagine the challenge you met head on. Be very proud and grateful at the same time. And the pup is beyond words ~ a real bundle of Angel Joy! God Bless.
I am very proud of you. Saturday would mark my 27th anniversary with my partner, only 9 years ago he started a slide into alcoholism, and 3 years ago he started using meth, and I don't use anything. The kind and loving man I knew has been replaced with a nasty, mean individual, obsessed with online sex. I've been replaced with Popov, pipes and strangers. I've kept hoping but he refuses to seek help so I've filed for divorce. Al-Anon has been a help, your videos have been an inspiration.
Oh ANT both Lilly and I were so shocked to hear what you were abusing. We love you so. We are both so happy you are sober and clean and you! Mr. G and that zebra made me laugh so hard! I hope when we are living down there we can get my boys together with your boy!
Okay, so Lilly's Dad passed away when she was 11. He was an alcoholic and I am sure that was the cause of his stroke. There is not a day that doesn't go by that I wish he could have been part of her life.
64 days! That is great ANT!!! How did you fall back into the drugs and alcohol again? (I mean I understand being sad, missing Richard etc.) But was it offered by a "friend" or was it something you sought out on your own? Whatever the case, I'm glad you're done with that crap and very proud of you. P.S. I can't get NBC to load anymore, it chokes my computer. :(
I like the new doo (is that the right spelling?). My goodness that is quite a menu you told us about....Even BIGGER Congrats on 64 days! Very inspiring and very amazing...I am one of the lucky ones that has never been an addict to anything...except for being addicted to Sheila :) BTW ANT, I added you on Facebook - add me on so I can talk to you there as well.
Continue to Stay on Target....Oh, and I give the Zebra a week and the stuffing will be everywhere :)
I love the positive attitude you have in this video it's so nice to hear you upbeat and like yourself. One of my favorite things is when someone creates art and it's so inspiring it inspires someone else to create art. I think that is beautiful. And art can be several things like I feel making a video for youtube is creative. I am so glad you are doing well because when you do well we all do well. Because when one of us does well it ripples to others. I am getting wise in my old age huh? :)
I think of you often, and send out little wishes for you a lot. You asked for a story, and this is it:
My father was an alcoholic. Before he died, he told me what sobered him up: the realization that he was driving around with me at 4 drunk. He was sober for about 15 years before dying. I carry around his 11 year chip in my wallet. It serves as a reminder of a dangerous road, and the love it took to get him off it.
Now for you @ 64 days, I'm sending you love on this road.

You ALWAYS make me laugh!! :D
I just love how you talk to Mr. G... that's how I talk to my animals!
Umm, okay.. as you know, I have a story, but mine is a little different.
I'm struggling with anxiety (and what a demon it is!). I've been on tranquilizers for years. I was addicted to Xanax.
I'm under a doctor's care. At this writing, she is trying to switch me from Ativan to Klonopin.
I'm having withdrawal symptoms.
-I love you ANT!!... more than you know..
and you look adorable.
