  • Thanks everyone! I'm glad the translation helped. This song is so close to my heart because every time I hear this, I see myself... like someone wrote this about me.. :(

  • liju kumar

  • I am a Tamilian with a distant Kerala connection. I love this song.

Amazing how much of this song I could figure out with my Tamil

knowledge. This beautiful translation really filled all the gaps in my

understanding of the lyrics. Thanks a lot!

  • part 3 translation... part 1 and 2 are below..

amidst the mist (slowly) like the rain that drifted away

like a lamp flickering in the wind, who is that waiting

your face resembles a bird that has lost its feathers

the strained heart wipes away the rainbow in the mind

and you, like the flow of tears, remain...

  • part 2 translation... part 1 is below..

today, someone stroked the virtual veena on my mind

even the moon today seems like the scorching sun

the colorful spring today feels like sober rain

your heart, shattered like broken pieces of glass

like the poor bird that flew high but got bruised

  • I just found the translation of this song!! :) part 1

    Someone stroked gently....

someone stroked the virtual veena on my mind

strange thoughts set the tone on my mind

with a tired sigh, with a wavering mind

the twilight waves goodbye, albeit with a heavy heart

  • tell me at what sec is dat? i'll try to help you. but not sure though

  • if sum1 translates this ill be grateful!

  • @64anuradha it'll take ages....also des are poetric lines which is very hard to translate

  • @jebijash i kno..its very difficult..but wat does the mukhda mean..

  • @64anuradha its very difficult to translate line by line..but the first line.. "Aaro viral meethi manasin maan veenail.." litterally means.."Someone played the strings of the veena (in her heart)".. in case u don't know..Veena is a stringed instrument similar to the sitar.. the main part of the song or its mukhda is saying that someone played with her emotions/feelings/dreams & let go of her..doesn't mean intentionally tho.. thats my interpretation of the song! :)

  • @TheMusicMania247 thanks a lot really really appreciate it
