  • LYME DISEASE WAS CREATED ON PLUM ISLAND AS A BIOWEAPON

  • I would be careful saying that you would make a trade off like that...the grass is always greener and so forth.

Everything happens for a reason, even the stuff that blows hard.

  • Yeah man - I have had fungal septicemia ever-since i was born, and I never got a diagnosis or treatment and i am now 27 years old. I now have fungal meningitis, and have been labelled schizophrenic. This disease has completely taken away who i am, not only who i am but how others perceive me. My own family does not even believe i am sick. I now have late stage terminal illness, and if anything my family are actually helping the disease kill me. I am constantly treated like a joke

  • How do you feel if you have derealization? I had it for a while and I couldn't feel anything emotionally. You can cure derealization btw. Does your derealization come and go? Mine varied in intensity. Is yours caused by lymes?

  • Well I have to say this is a disease that is a curse, and seeing you guys say all this stuff really breaks me. But Yes guys you have to be optimistic. a year can go by really quick. you guys don't have a temporary depressional statelike Steve said, like losing a job and have to deal with the stress weeks or two months. But you guys can get stable if you create a discipline on the existing treatment available. It is hard to maintain a long term discipline on a treatment but you can.

  • A support group needs to be started. I was diagnosed and treated with antibiotics for 3 weeks and the Drs. in my area think that is all that is needed. If I had any wits left right now I would be at the end of them right now. I need to find a Doctor that is willing to help me not just put me on antidepressants and nerve medication. It is not helping, my husband does not understand now he is gone...it's got to get better for me...I pray it doesn't get worse :``(((

  • read this article. hopefully it will raise some awareness about lyme.

  • Lyme can and does get worse. It varies of course, most do get worse tho. One thing most even LLMD dont address is thick blood our bodies life source, its no wonder there are so many symptoms. Other causes as well. Ck out Hemex Labs on line, call ask to send you or doc test kit for hyprercoagulation panel for Lyme. More info on Pain Regimen I found that anyone can use, just not market, in my FB notes Cynthia Rhiner Chase.

  • Very articulate! What great thoughts and advice you gave to be optimistic. I have the terrible brain fog too and am glad that I did all my schooling before I got this - otherwise, it would have been impossible. You are so giving and certainly, I think, gave a wonderful boost to thane17... or I hope you did. Good luck to you and I hope you are getting good treatment for your Lyme!

  • You are so smart, young man. :) You are absolutely right about "holding up your chin" for temporary situations. It works for me in spurts, but it's very hard to maintain indefinitely. If only more people could comprehend that. I liken it to someone getting in a car accident -- bruised up everywhere, stiff, and lots of pain. They get through it--but imagine it every day of your life. ;)

  • At least us who have Lyme can share empathy for each other. Everyone thinks that I'm just being a weak person or a hypochondriac.

  • Hey Steve,

That was a nice video, its nice that all lyme sufferers can unite together. I can definitely relate to you, and I hope you are better or are getting better. I'm just starting treatment, I hope it takes well. All the best.

  • I've had it a long time but have been fortunate to have a good doctor and respond well to treatment. My symptoms are more bodily than psychiatric. Take care.

  • Nice video, Steve. Very sweet. You talked about being willing to trade cancer for Lyme and I remembered meeting a young guy who had severe Lyme. He's better but probably still has it. Anyway, he subsequently got testicular cancer, had one ball removed, had chemo, had a second surgery to remove his abdominal lymph nodes, and was cured. He commented that testicular cancer was easy compared to Lyme because with Lyme you feel like you have fifty diseases at the same time and it's so had to get help.

  • you're good looking..(:

  • great video thank you for sharing

  • I have now watched your video response probably five times and I want you to know how truly grateful I am to you for doing it. God Bless You.

  • I thought you did an excellent response.

There are so many of us out there struggling with these symptoms. I think we do have hope because they are getting closer to releasing immune modulators that could help us. We are closer to that now than ever before. And we know much more about Lyme now than we ever did before.

Ultimately, we just have to deal with whatever we're dealt. We don't get to choose what we've got. Maybe in the end, we get judged on how we deal with it.

  • Wrote a Lyme disease brochure with the help of 2 Lyme specialists. Will email to anyone interested. After surgery, my Lyme symptoms reared their ugly heads. Cognitive problems, short term memory loss, 0 multi-tasking ability. God bless
