  • Intro riff isn't just one note for the slides of fret 4 and 5. Its octaves

  • Thank you so much, I didn't think there were any tutorials on Opeth songs on youtube

  • Hey, just curious, what is the high mid and low set at on your amp?

  • @ThrowingSpoon I think bass 7, Mid 5, Treble 8. But this vid was a long time ago, can't really remember.

  • Great lesson, I've been working this out by ear lately, and this has helped me nail it.

But, try to put some emotion into your voice, it sounds like you're reading out of a book.

  • I have a line 6 spider IV and a mikael akerfelt signature guitar but it still sounds shitty what should I do

  • @shadowfreakful Post them to me.

  • on your guitar swells lesson video or whatever comments were disabled but i just wanted to say i respect that. Someone like me would need a volume pedal. I just don't get how you guys do it fast enough to sound legit X3

  • GOD this is gay.

  • hey thanks for the lesson! im gonna do an acoustic cover now :D

  • Hi, great lesson, helped me out a lot!

May I ask, what effect(s) are you using? As is, what distortion? I really like the sound of it.

  • I've got a line 6 spider III amplifier and I've got it set on 'insane'.

  • @humanusvulgarisalice

  • CAN U MAKE THE BASS ONE????

  • I'm not sure exactly how it's played on the bass, I'm not much of a bass player. I would say just play the lowest note of each chord and just leave out the palm mutes. I think...

  • @humanusvulgarisalice NO! Even if you are not a bassplayer, as a musician, surely you can hear that this bassplayer does much more than your corenotes!!

  • @humanusvulgarisalice You are indeed correct

  • wonderd when u were going to make new vids.

    lovein this =]
