Episodic content is lame. Hl2 Episode 1 added nothing substantial to the story and had unchanged gameplay. Hl2 Episode 2 did expand the story and gave players new experiences, but it was released 3 years after HL2 so 5 hours of content was pretty disappointing.

What I was getting at was that if you bought Skyrim, that $60 you spent goes solely towards the game and you don't have to pay anything extra to get all the content, except DLC. But with CoD there are other factors if you want to play online. As for the price, Activision is greedy. They charge UK customers £44.99 ($70) just because they can get away with it. So you're paying more for less.
