did i say she wasnt born in ghana, did i say she's never been to ghana? No I didn't...but i said this girl is obviously a PRODUCT of American society. she could have been to Ghana every summer vacation, but thats not the point.
having a ghanaian-american as miss ghana for the last 2-3 years is an opinion? stating that she is not a product of ghanaian society is an opinion?

Because of that most outsiders like yourself presume to think that the Eastern African Accent of over 20 Nations is the general accent of all Africans. She is not faking it. You are the one who has a low insight into how huge and dynamic all the 58 nations in Africa are. She is a true Ghanaian collegiate. @zozochichi Actually, I don't think of the Eastern African accent as the dominant accent at all. Being from the English speaking Caribbean, our ties are with our African brothers and sisters on the West coast. What I don't understand is why is she speaking with an American accent, I went to college, so did MIss Jamaica (who by the way went to school in the US) and we don't speak with an American or British accent. I thought only people in the colonial era did that, I'm so wrong!
