  • you're obviously unintelligent....... = =

  • so... did you obtain your IB diploma?

  • dont pick history.

  • and I thought AP world was bad... lmao

  • I remember when I had to do my ib exams..ib was somewhat new when I went and I was so depressed about them. after I took the exams I was so relieved to have gotten them out of the way hope you did well

  • you are very organized! how did the exam go?

  • How come an ib student refers to latin america as if it were a single country?

You just cannot get past your nationalistic bias!

  • @GArodrigo Perhaps you refer to when I say that we can study either Canada, the US, or Latin America. I refer to "Latin America" as a whole because that is what the curriculum entails. Not sure what makes you think that I refer to it as a single country.

  • @fezmovies

you said so yourself: "Canada (saingle country), the USA (single country)(you should reeeally include the A) and Latin America (according to the trend you're following, it's perceived as a single country)"

  • @GArodrigo Yes. The curriculum is that the class studies either the US (one country), Canada (one country), or Latin America (multiple countries). Just because the other choices are one country, how does that make Latin America a single country as well? Don't make assumptions if you know nothing about the course.

  • @fezmovies just so you know, I AM taking the course (SL because the coordinator just wouldn't let me take a fourth HL) and my exams are this friday. it's not that personal against you, i just think that the naming itself is evidence of bias, it's just something that bothers me, EVERY time that I read or hear the phrase "Latin America" or I observe someone mistaking any other south or central American for a Mexican, it just makes me sick.

  • @GArodrigo Well just for the record "History of Americas" is only part of the HL (as far as I know, I could be wrong). Good luck with your tests. I think you're over interrupting it; nobody thinks of "Latin America" as a single country just as nobody considers "Europe" or the "Middle East" as one either. The nice thing about studying LA for the tests is that there are numerous leaders from various countries you can compare and contrast.

  • @fezmovies yeah, it's a regional option, i know, i take History in HL but i'm doing the exams in SL... the teacher says that the populisms will work for R&R of single party and authoritarian states and the mexican and cuban revolution will work for Cs, Ps and Es of war. they might, but i'd rather focus on the core stuff

  • with I saw this before my junior year. it's too late now. I'm too far in..

just uploaded an IB RAP! ... for cas hours. ;)

made with AFTER EFFECTS!!! go watch it!

    it's awesome

  • Where do you find time for your unprotected anal sex with korean transexuals? Lol.

  • yer amazing! lol

what did u get on all yer tests?

  • 7 on math studies, 6 on History HL, 6 on Environmental systems, 5 on English HL

  • @fezmovies nice lol...i have the wonderful benefit of being in a just formed IB program...so no one knows wtf is going on!! lol

  • @HeyKidStopIt

My school just got the ib last month and I'm in grade 10. So next school year I start IB grade 11 first cohort.....SCARY!

  • I say u should give me your binders lol....

my IB history teacher doesnt teach...yeppie!

  • @HeyKidStopIt some of my notes are available on my website (dannyzeff dot kom slash schooltools), just fix that url. one day i hope i'll get all my sources up there.

  • history paper 3 is fucked up for my mocks i had to do paper 2 and 3 in a row....my hand was crippled

  • I am actually so screwed.

  • How did you go about revising for the Paper 3 exams, Fezmovies?

  • If I recall correctly, I studied specifically 3 sections I learned in HOA: Mexico Revolution, Single-Party States, and something else. On the actual Paper 3, I got lucky there was a Castro question IDENTICAL to a Castro question I answered on a test in class. So I easily wrote that with the Castro outline I studied. I don't remember the other two as well. There weren't a lot of Latin America q's even though that's what we studied. I think I wrote one on the US constitution and made up sources.

  • @fezmovies Ok, cool. I'm taking the IB exams in May and I am not exactly looking forward to preparing for Paper 3. There is so much material to study.

  • so glad that i dont have history hl i dont think i could take it

  • omg I feel your pain. i was in the exact same position as you...also took History of the Americas..I still remember that weekend and I felt the same way as you. Well, now it's over! Hope you were satisfied with your results!

  • very satisfied... i got a 6!

  • i hear ya man!! i've got tests every day this week plus mon next week. just took paper one and two history today. it went better than i thought but still was mentally exhausting and long..

  • Whoa, you get textbooks? That must be nice.

  • if you call them textbooks... they're not exactly those typical things with the hardcovers and the huge pictures and highlighted vocab

"collegiate books written by historians" is a better description

  • Well we just got a shitload of copies. At least yours are actual like books for some of it.

  • Waste of paper. to the max
