  • Is that some sort of tapestry bobbin that you are using for a shuttle? It looks to be easier to handle than the typical weaving shuttles. Thanks for posting this.

  • There is no set way in using an inkle loom and this is a good example of finding your own method and rhythm. This may be why "The Loom Merchant" has chosen this video to place on their video page. Good short video production showing what you need to see. We need more like this one. Thank you!

    I must admit that this is not realy my own way to use it. It is the old common way in Sweden that the band weaving ladies that was weaving for living used in the 1800, 1900 and 2000 centure. I think it is a old valuable teqnique that must bee kept alive.

  • This loom is antique but there are people still making new ones. But you can use a normal Inkle loom for this weaving also.
