  • The music is great, elevating, intelectual and inspiring. But the content of the text is absolutely ludicrous. But well, it pretty much does sum up what christianity is about: Sin, sin, sin and yet more sin...

  • Comment dire, cette version est un chef d'oeuvre, tout y est parfait, interprétation magistrale et bien enregistrée et cette résolution en accord majeur, c'est le coup de grâce, énorme!

  • Most people who saw This Is England 88 commented on Dogwood Blossom by Fionn Regan after last nights final episode, me included, but this tune was also on there and its just as powerful, in fact more so when put into context of the drama of This Is England 88. So hauntingly ethereal, scary but beautiful =o)

  • SCARY.

  • @CaptainSpry Même pas, ils sont foutu.

  • Wonderful,Beautiful, Gorgeous, Divine, Pure love.

  • @Rheya0 This is beautiful, both the truth and the way you write of it.

  • @Rheya0 With respect, perhaps Grace touches us each in its own way. Jesus our Lord reaches out and forgives and blesses each of us from the scars of the Cross. Please let me know if I am on the wrong tract. Peace to you, loved one. Cassandra

  • New College's "Miserere" sounds a little lower than other choirs'.

Does the treble sing high C?

  • Indeed!

  • I just spend hours listening and reading and watching some of the best works ever produced by mankind. To me this is the power of the internet, all the best the human race has to offer in the palm of my hand...

  • That's the power of the pure faith. No Christ, no Buddha, no Allah, only faith.

It always touches your heart like it's the first time you listen to this. Truly magnificent.

  • im speechless

  • If this doesn't touches you, you're not human.

  • Comme cette pièce est belle! Je l'ai arrangée pour guitare.

  • this song was sacred for years, hidden in the Vatican and any reproduction was punishable by excommunication. Allegri did this beautifully. This is sang during the Easter Lenten season, psalm 51, read about it...absolutely beautiful when you know the story behind it as well as the meanings of the Latin words sung!

  • I have tried to find this version on itunes. Could it be that it is actually King's Choir of Cambridge instead of Oxford?

  • @Sinnerto no

  • the chord at 1:24 melts my heart...

  • The chord at 1:29 melts my heart.

  • By far the most beautiful piece of music ever written. (performed perfectly here with so much emotion) 1000 stars.

  • Realmente é a melhor interpretação desta obra: vozes perfeitas, direção musical inquestionável. Leva-nos a presença de Deus, em súplica...

  • This song is absolutely worth to be called: MUSIC.

  • I've loved this piece for years, and this is by far, really really way ahead of the rest, the best version I've heard!! 10/10!

  • Wow, so beautiful my heart hurts.

  • If this piece doesn't rip your heart out, nothing will!

  • Amazing:)

  • Wonderful. Breath-taking!

  • My goodness! What sadness yet what peace, crying

  • I saw them at the Cathedral Basilica last night in St. Louis...they are absolutely the most hands down stunning group i have ever seen! Thank you so much for putting this up! =D

  • This is divine, absolutely sublime. When this music really enters your heart and soul, it has a profound impact. Makes all our little problems and concerns seem utterly unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Magnificent.

  • @HannaB555 It's great, but it's far from divine. I had a near death experience before, and the music on the other side has a mix of far more frequencies in the background. I was exposed to a song that was supremely beautiful and it had like hundreds of different melodies being played simultaneously, with sounds in the ultra and infra regions that one cannot hear in a human body. It's awesome in the afterlife.

  • @creamie123 That's what i've heard before that in heaven all the nations are singing worship to God in a different song and different language, but it all harmonizes. Sounds amazing :)

    Merci :-)
