maybe take a small propane torch nozzle and burn the nail out. just char the wood around it and dig it out. save a good gouge or chisel from being damaged. even if it goes all the way thru it could be a nice touch later, who knows?
This gents the Bob Ross of wood turning...I was loving it and then suddenly found myself knocked out in the chair. So dang it had to watch it all over again with my wife smackin me with a fly swatter each time my eye lids dropped. BUT I MADE IT!
