  • I love this song...5 stars...Great piano very good condition.

  • 5 stars

  • This is a great sounding piano! Great work considering what you had to scrape together to build it back up. What is the QRS number on that roll?

  • Thanks,

This song is Beer Barel Polka, n° 7009 from QRS

  • what a wonderful sound!!!

  • It's "Beer barrel Polka" from QRS 88 notes.

  • Sorry, I have no more this instrument here.

It was a restoration for a client.

But I will record some rolls soon with other

    very good pianos.

  • What a charming piano! Can we please hear some more rolls?

  • Beautiful piano and nicely restored! Congratulations!

  • Thanks a lot.

  • That's a Popper Welt-Piano! I didn't know they could sound so nice! What a fine piano!

  • The pneumatic system of this player piano was removed and burned around 1948.

I had rebuild a new system from parts of several old player pneumatical systems and adapted that on this piano.

Soon other videos : Gunther Odeola grand, and later, my Bosendorfer-Ampico grand.

  • Removed and burned? How horrid..

  • Yes, after the war, much pneumatic systems were removed by the tuners because it was more difficult to tune the pianos.

And just after the war, the player pianos were no more appreciated.
