...when I'm using Cubase I loose all other sound when I'm for example want to hear something on Spotify or use YouTube. Is there a way to fix this?

@cinemats No there isnt, the audio driver is only capable of doing 1 thing at a time, however there is a button called "release driver when in background" so if you minimize cubase the driver will become available.

Hey Chuck, Can you tell me what I should do with my Cubase 4LE? I want to use it with my Zoom H4N, but when I try to download Cubase 4, my Dell gives me all manner of warnings such as, "Not compatible with Windows" and "May cause corruption of files." Should I go past these warnings? Thanks.

hey i have cubase LE 4 and im having trouble with it, everytime i open cubase i get a massage saying "could not create record file" and "record could not be enabled, becuz the record file could not be created" i found a way around it by saving it to crp, any idea how to fix this?

do you need a midi keyboard to record midi? isnt there an on screen keyboard like in garageband?

when i use my midi keyboard there is a delay from when i press the key to when the sound appears on cubase

@guinguinpenguin Make sure you are using ASIO for input. Then you can lower the "ASIO buffer latency" which determent the delay you are having. With a Soundblaster X-FI I can set the input latency to 10ms without getting sound glitches / crackles. gl!

I had the same problem with the UNO. I don't think it is capable of receiving and sending signals simultaneously.

i did this with my m-audio uno. The level meter of my midi track detects the signal from my midi instrument but when i started pressing the record button on the playback panel, it doesn't record. What must I do?

ahhh!! just look at the opening screeen compared to logic pro 8 it makes me laugh running CUBASE exs24 and space designer next to XP with cubase on it !!

i'd just hate to produce using this! look at it and its just not nice to work with and sounds terrible (for midi)

Problem solved, i need to set my keyboard voice on a drumset. But when i hit a key theres a delay between the drum on my keyboard and my PC.

I know its not a bug, but where's the setting to remove that?

yu need to use an audio interface ( external device )resolved all this annoying delays and out of sync problem.the built in soundcard in the computer is not enough.

I connected my Yamaha PSR-620,

but when I record, i dont hear any drums, just the voice of my keyboard wich is now GrandPiano.

And when i play it i hear nothing...

did i do something wrong?
