@TheFlyingLime Yes, the vibrations are coming from the spider. The noise is amplified by the "drum-like" apparatus that the researcher placed them on, so we humans are able to hear the noise better. This video was, I believe, recorded by biologist Damian Elias in his lab while doing his research. All spiders communicate to their mates using vibrations and also pheromones. They snap their joints and rub their body parts together in order to make the noises. Only some are audible to humans, tho.
