@heine71 Yes he did, but in the commercials of one and two years prior, it was an old cowboy , then a parrot that said "chocolate".....these were great commercials! Thanks for posting! I grew up loving commercials, now my grandchildren prefer commercials rather than the tv show!!!!

I think they recalled it because kids where trying to eat it fast and it became a choking hazzard. (You could wad it up and try to chaw it down.)

@heine71 No, they quit making it because they didn't have a large enough market for them. It was basically just chocolate covered taffy, It was braided so it would look bigger, but weighed the same as regular candy bar. You can get basically the same thing with another candy bar. I can' remember the name of it but it was long and skinny instead of braided. I think they still make it. You can also get a Curly Wurly bar over the internet. It's a knock-off modeled after the original candy bar

@caa1000 Marathon was chocolate caramel and chewy, Twix is chocolate caramel and crunchy cookie.
