  • Thanks mate btw grate vids :)

  • Were did you get the flares from???

  • @JJPYROTECHNICS That would be telling ; ) You can buy them online the Civilian versions, as long as it doesn't involve any kind of air freight.

  • Great video. Have that bag and love it. And don't listen to idiots like pereniumwarrior. These idiots that think America is better because they can carry guns are morons. There are more gun related deaths here than anywhere else. Guns for protection? Please! I'm 41, and never ever needed one.

  • @questconcrete Hahah thanks mate, love this comment!

  • hi there, thanks for showing dupilcates kit in your kit, i get so tired of the ounce counters who wont carry this or that cos it weighs too much, like you said two is one etc, if you have no spare or back up especially when it comes to a decent blade or fire kit what you gonna do in the middle of nowhere? i carry quite a bit of kit, i like to go bush from time to time, but see no reason to be uncomfortable , so if my kit is heavy i dont mind, used same bag as you for years good vids, cheers

  • @colonelchimp Yeah I got that two is one, one is none, from weilderness outfitters. I think each to their own, it's your kit, it'll save your ass (or not) so it should be own personal choice. But YouTube is great for learning bits and bobs from other people. If people don';t like things, fine, why they always have to pipe up and go, oh you got too much of this etc etc.. I don't know, just moaning bastards I guess! Yeah it is a good bag, no doubt about that.

  • nice setup, quality vids. mil issue flare considered Section 1 firearm (female spigot) btw, so you might want to omit that when you get you maxped setup :)

  • Been after that type of flare pen here in UK for ages. Don't sell that type anymore cause it can be made to live fire by placing a 22LR (or a 22 short blank and a 22cal steel pellet) in whats left of the flare case after you have fired it off. Signalling and self defence all in one!

  • @ukprepare yeah I got lucky with this, I never knew it could do that though!!!

  • Sleeping bag not backpack soz

  • @bennyboyshaw ar cool mate, I'm going to the Lake District with my pal for a weekend, I'm going to buy a maxP vulture2 to stow my backpack, mat and tarp, not sure if I shud take my sabercat tho. I should do a review it see what peeps think. Cheers for reply geeza

  • @bennyboyshaw haha, agree with ya there mate. This is your survival pouch, so do you take it to the woods? Where do you keep you sleeping bag , mat and tarp?, sorry for all the questions it's just that I'm trying to get a good setup for next month :-) cheers

  • @Creemy89 Well to be honest, this video is from when we was having really bad snow and I was carrying this about with my survival tin and a few other bits (blanket/shovel) in my vehicle, I generally use my other survival pouch for the woods, or just my survival tin in my local woods, along with my backpack that has all my tarp, sleeping bag, and all the food, cooking & cutting equipment etc..... Where you going next month??

  • @bennyboyshaw yeah good call, I've just finished setting up my new pack ( maxpedition sabercat ) and have taken of board the brew kit thanks to you :-), I don't like fruit tea so might add powder milk, not sure how powder milk tastes but I'll give it a try and see his it goes.

  • @Creemy89 Nice, the sabercat I'm guessing by other maxpedition gear, will be well worth the extra money. I think powder milk is fine, but yeah all you can do is try things, sometimes things that taste rough at home, taste quite nice when your out in the woods and a bit chilly and that.. Hahah like I doubt I'd sit and have one of those boil in the bags at home and enjoy it, but it's lovely first thing in the morning when it's a bit nippy and you're outside! Weird!

  • @bennyboyshaw how many tea bags do you have in your folding cup? Cheers

  • @Creemy89 Three or four I think, only one normal, the others are fruit teas, don't have to mess about with milk then!!

  • Nothing better than a well brewed cup of Charlie

  • No tea in the brew kit? Thought you British always had to have tea.

  • @econnofoot Yeah there is tea too

  • Great video. I have a kit similar to yours. Where did you get the flare pen kit?

    Thanks, wtr7

  • @wtr7 Nice one, flares where from a friend who was in the Paras, I was lucky to get them I think, but you can get pretty much the same thing on-line, a 'civilian' version.. As this won't let me post links, Google this .. Pains Wessex Mini Flare Kit.

  • great job on packing everything so much stuff u have yet another video to hit up continuing>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • @ascorpio09 Nice one!

  • now this is everything you would did if you were stranded or a war would come very nice kit man you watch Bear Grylls he is a former sas and surviel guy? I think the main things you need is flashlight, matches, needles, pills, plasters, knifes, touch, flair, load alarm, string, bags, sand paper, water cantine, most of witch you have and more cool video brother

  • @Xbox360FanSite Yeah I like Bear Grylls, I prefer Les Stroud though, he's a bit more realistic I think. Cheers for the comment : )

  • excellent kit!! it is surprising what you have managed to fit in there mate!! rethinking maybe packing my one up again for EDC use!!

  • @wall2rockclimber Cheers Mike, I was amazed how much you could get in these.
