This is really really good, it's hard enough to memorize at least one page of this book, but to recite with such passion and spirit is very very impressive.
Is it possible to think that James Joyce wrote this as a joke? So, to "act" it out and make it serious seems very extraneous. A great feat, indeed. But, I think that everyone who has even read the book would think... "WTF?" After all, it IS... "Finnegan's Wake".
It's possible, but unlikely. After all, he spent 17 years writing it. I do think that he genuinely wanted to alter the state of the novel radically. On the other hand, maybe he felt that, after writing Ulysses, his reputation secured, he was safe to do what ever the hell he wanted. Either way, it was a challenge to perform it, especailly learning the text, but that's what I wanted.
Excellent performance. Such a difficult work to try and perform, but you succeeded admirably. Although, there were one or two moments {in all four parts taken together, not just this one} where i felt that you could have said certain things differently, but i suppose that is just a case of interpretation. There is no absolute right way of doing something like this.
James Joyce is quite a hard thing to recreate outside the pages of poetry. This is an relatively simple version of what James Joyce was truly trying to convey using the beauty of his work. I may recommend that u try To Kill A Mocking bird and possibly The Name of the wind by Rothfuss

Pretty amazing, my friend. Was this a performance or personal recording? And are you planning on coming "full circle?"

Cheers!
This was a performance in front of a small group.
Would love to do the full thing, but imagine how long that would be!

Just kidding. Wouldn't want to induce sheer insanity in you!

This proves that great poetry must be spoken to be understood. Well done.

I rescind. An admirable performance by any standard.
