  • The inside is rubber. You can carry around a bag full of water. It is waterproof.

  • Loaded out, how much would you say it weighs to carry?...I am looking at either the small or medium, and I tend to carry a lot of "stuff." I have been through the entire Maxpedition line and have not found THE perfect bag for me. Thx

  • Your THIRD bag? If it was high quality you still have your first. TB2 is MADE IN CHINA BY SLAVES. For REAL messenger bags, made by European craftsmen with all European materials, check out TimeBomb bags, bags for real messengers, not hipsters.

  • Hey buddy great vid appreciate it, I am going to get the commute 2.0. I have a question for you not bag related. I see you have a macbook pro that you stash in your bag and from the video you bag obviously sees allot of action during the day. My question to you is how safe is your Macbook pro in your bag? Has you bag gotten any knocks with you Macbook inside, and how has your macbook fared inside the bag -does it run well. Thats my only concern with getting this bag the protection it provides.

  • my timbuk2 bag smells chemical so much, i am very disapointed with that bag, really!

  • You just told us you carry concealed without telling us. Everyone knows. Why wouldn't you just show it? Its not illegal.

  • That is a very nice bag, I think that you should definitely get some sleeve for the MacBook though, and it will go great in that bag!

  • i shouldve gotten a medium T.T

  • Sorry accidentally flagged you video sorry

  • @ReconSquad were did you get your 70$ timbuk2

  • do you think the size you are using in the video will fit a 15 inch mac book pro

  • is the bag what size is it and what type like is it a messenger or a laptop messenger bag

  • What size bag is this?

  • Hmm...iPad 2... MacBook Pro... iPhone 4... and your back up is a BBerry... rockin that SF made bag... you wouldn't happen to be from the City would you? lol Don't get me wrong, I love Apple products myself, I love Frisco, you just definitely seem to fit into that category of city local. But you say you have a "not so active" lifestyle, how has the bag treated you? I'm looking into Chrome or Timbuk2 for college and I'm not a cyclist so most reviews aren't the greatest for me. Love to hear back.

  • @Mydnytefantasy89

It depends on what you want from your bag, the Timbuk2 has more pockets than the Chrome as well as being a lot cheaper. The Chrome is heavier and the buckle clangs a lot when you put it down as well adding to the weight. The Timbuk2 can be worn on both shoulder, helpful if you carry a lot of stuff and one shoulder gets tired.

I own a Timbuk2 and love it, my friend has a Chrome, we switched for a week, it's a really nice bag, but in my mind my $70 Timbuk2 was better value.

  • @Fivethirty1 never have. Do you have one of those bags? You should do a video.

  • David, What happened to the STM backpack you got for Christmas.

  • @gcollins7484 oh I still have it - it is the best back-pack! I wanted to go for more of a messenger bag approach, thus the Timbuk2.

  • great video David!! never heard of this company before, definitely going to check them out. great looking bag btw.

  • Hey David! Great video, what size bag is this? (S,M, L) etc.

  • Great video. I might actually purchase one of these. It's like a "Geek Purse" LOL

  • Nice lil' ditty bag! When I saw Timbuk2 I was thinking of the foldout security check bags they have. This bag is like my older Patagonia messenger bag with a lot of goodies added to it though.

  • Awesome bag David! I'll have to check them out.

  • Great video!

  • Awesome video David, might buy one of does bags to use it like a backpack for school.

  • I think the Timbuk2 site has been hacked. I just went there to look at their messenger bags and got a picture LOLcat picture.

  • btw this is random

    what is ur job?

  • @strickmans

He works for an accounting firm. He handles their funds and balances their budget and sets limits from the comfort of his home. It's a great job. Technically, he doesn't work in his own home though, he rents out a place to work, not necessarily a full office though.

  • @dragonmustard2 management consulting firm, but close! Yes, we do rent out an entire home (in a business district) for our operations.

  • @DLB1752

OMG, I was just taking a shot in the dark. I was somewhat close lol.

David, could I request something from you? Could you do a review on your STM backpack? I believe it was called the convoy, the olive green one you received on Christmas. I'm trying to decide whether to go with the Convoy or the discontinued Rogue.

    Thanks. =)
