@zust4you ill answer this, since this guy probably wont. the intro requires light delay, and the empty sounding distortion is created by turning down the volume knob on your guitar. for the repeat intro in the second verse, you will once again need delay, only this time, leave the volume knob alone. justin chancellor's tremolo picking part requires reverb. thats it. good luck with the song. its a true masterpeice.

That is a really nice Les Paul =) i am saving up for one kinda like that. It's the new traditional plus desert burst. I think the new standard is a rip off. The traditional IS the standard. I dunno... the 50's neck and solid body are what make the beefy tone. I think they just put standard on the new one to sell more.
