Symphony No. 9 of Beethoven also known as 'Ode to Joy' because of the words used for vocal from a poem written by Friedrich Schiller. Lots of stalwarts in Indian Music has been influenced by Western music and sometime consciously or unconsciously adapted them in their music. Nothing wrong with that. It is called stealing when there is a 'pattern'. I don't know if that applies to this band.
