in italy the earthquake is 6.8...... in chile the earthquaque is 8.8 and tsunami..... in mexically the earthquake is 7.2.... well the construccion in italy is very bad Itália constructions are weak seismicity

@OxIdO43 I agree with you but you can't rebuild new house and destroy an old town... in Italy there are a lot of old town very nice... with old churches and monuments... Italy is a sismic country but earthquakes are not so strong as Chile or Mexico...

@OxIdO43 the focus question is that in this earthquake many recently built block collapsed (the house of the student) while the ancient ones were damaged but they didn't killed anybody.

@OxIdO43 I'm really really really sorry to tell-you that L'Aquila is an ancient city, and the most part of the center is composed by monuments and monumental houses and buildings (built from 1.300/1.400 dc 'till now). Maybe you don't like all this old garbage, but you MUST acquire information before writing nonsense. We had only few new builgings destroyed by the quake, and only about 300 deaths, in japan they had a 6.8 quake few years ago... and they had about 200 deaths.............

@gmassi1966 precisamente è il valle aterno est...si trova, venendo da roma, 1 km prima dell'uscita dell'aquila ovest...è a circa 5 km dall'epicentro :-(

ps: ci sono stato mille volte in questo autogrill!!!! (l'ultima stamattina) Posso confermare che è vero, si trova sull' A24 TERAMO-ROMA un paio di chilometri dopo L'Aquila centro in direzione Roma.

Immagini veramente impressionanti. Quello che mi lascia perplesso è l'uscita dell'Autogrill, con la porta che si apre verso l'interno e non verso l'esterno e solo per caso l'uscita non è stata ostruita dagli espositori dei prodotti che oscillano pericolosamente. Guardate il dipendente che esce per ultimo quanto ci mette ad aprire la porta, mentre con una porta a spinta avrebbe fatto prima. Di aree di servizio con questo tipo di uscita ce ne sono tante. Sarebbe opportuno rivedere le uscite.

@aibsanremo sì è vero io pure l'ho trovata, in tanti autogrill ci stà la porta che s'apre al contrario ASSURDO! soprattutto quelli piccoli e credo pure d'aver capito perchè...due porte in un locale piccolo fregano spazio, se uno ruba qualcosa e vuole scappare la porta che si apre verso l'interno gli crea un piccolo contrattempo, si curano della comodità nel farti entrare ma quando oramai hai pagato puoi anche stare scomodo...tutto a discapitodella sicurezza..che roba!
