Very impressive device and UI.

A shame it got canceled. They say they might license the OS UI to other companies, but i think the actual competition is way to strong to acommodate another smartphone-os besides android,, WebOS, iOS and Windows Phone 7..

Maybe they can just port the UI to Android? Besides Sense from HTC there is imho no good UI for Android.....even if Vanila Android UI is catching up at a speedy pace.

Judging from the advertising found on there website, I believe Emblaze is going to solve its low market profile by marketing the first else as a smartphone for the 'underground' rather than a main stream device.

I recon they would just flip the GUI for left handed people. Should be able to use the finger tips for the button pushing rather than the thumb having to stretch over.

No there are 4 factors .not 3 .needed to make it a success.The 4th is that they havbe to put it on sale and stop building it up for months on end.I'm sick of the all the phone hype with every manufacturer.

Make a good product,test it,have it reviewed..get it out there.

totally agree. look at Nexus One which is released in US in 5 January and there is no sign to see it in UK before April. By that time, HTC Bravo will strike along with another most delayed phone SE Xperia X10. This is annoying..

dont you get it?what they are trying to do is just about what apple's iphone did.they start withe a FIRST modle.then,they come up wite a SECOND modle,a better one,then they invent the THIRD modle.its all about making money and sensation.

I was excited for this phone UNTIL he said "No expandable Memory". Hopefully, Emblaze Mobile will see the need for Expandable Memory slots and at least add that. A Full Qwerty keypad would be nice too. Other than that, I'm impressed. I LOOOVE The OS.

its going to have 32Gb of memory anyway so unless your putting your entire musics collection or loads of films i cant see why you would need more.

Basically because I deal with alot of video as well as audio. I can easily fill up 32GB. I'd need the expansion slot because I'd have to buy alot of Micro SD cards to swap out every now and then.

relax guys this is promo for new phone named First Else and created by Israeli company with Sharp electronics and 5mp camera by Sony erricson. And this phone is real iphone killer for sure. External he looks like usual phone but internal it's all about the amazing OS.

Lovely slick UI. Only a minor correction. The video states incorrectly that the iPhone 3GS has the TI Omap3 processor. That is not correct.

The Radial interface is ground breaking. i was this close to buying a Nokia N900. i think i will wait untill march to see how many cool devices will come out. it seems like every other day something new and purchase worthy pops up.
