Wow! That v illain 'Bremmer' is possibly the only person on Earth to actually SHOOT Wonder Woman(yea...right. see the rest of the episode!). But instead of acting shocked by his achievement, he's all business. Wish I were THAT evil.
Lynda you were and STILL are Wonderwoman. This "new gal" has NOTHING on you!!! I give The new Wonderwoman show by NBC 5 episodes before they pull it! You see you were destined to play Wonderwoman. Smart, athletic and sexy with a kind and loving heart you took the role VERY seriously and it shows in the episodes. You will be Wonderwoman for a VERY long time before they can take your tiara!!!
When Wonder Woman uses her Amazon strength to knock the door down at 0:16, the scene would had been better if two villains had been hiding behind the door. When Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl enter the room, they are taken by surprise and chloroformed;when they awaken, they are tied to chairs and are powerless because their magic belts have been removed. The villains gloat that they have captured two Amazons and have rendered both of them helpless.
@dorianstark1970 I would argue its the converse - a few rare actors (anthony hopkins, leonardo di caprio) are able to maintain perspective of reality, but the vast majority confuse their persona with their ego (self identity) - indeed some have no clear self-identity (tom cruise) - they are too wrapped up in being "actors".
What i originally meant is that being a REALITY person - i would find it impossible to "lose reality" enough to pretend i am something i am not.
@BiggerThinking1 most actors do their job. which is to entertain the masses via stage or film. reality is ones perspective. no 1 person or people have the patent on what reality is for another. imagination & an open mind is needed in some styles of film & stage. youur first comment DONT THEY FEEL RIDICULOUS, PLAYACTING LIKE CHILDREN, tells me you dont appreciate the lightheartedness, the imagination,it takes to pull off a certain style of viewing pleasure or not just kids, but adults as well.
@dorianstark1970 Maybe I'm too serious - but on the other side - I bet those capable of playacting like children are incapable of serious academic analysis of reality (quantum mechanics, general relativity etc)
@BiggerThinking1 However, I have since realized that cinema has its place for exploring real themes - eg political corruption. So I suppose someone needs to act the parts LOL. I just think they take it too seriously - B-grade acting still conveys the themes as accurately.
@BiggerThinking1 so, does that disappoint you? knowing something is not real doesnt take away from its enjoyment or entertainment. why does a show abt fantasy or dreams or fiction bother you?
@BiggerThinking1 its possible your mind has much more of the analitical side than the other. very normal. but it is also just as normal to have the other be dominant.
@BiggerThinking1 Question for you? Do you actually watch any movies or TV shows that apparently are not documentaries or history shows or anything that challenges "the mind?" I.E. do you watch anything for pure entertainment? Because if you do, then you really should not be making a statement like that. There are those of us who actually find enjoyment out of "playacting like children" and who do not find it "lame."
@YesSirPlease: No, not quite padded -- more like reinforced. The Wonder Woman bustier had special extra-hard ribbing to keep things in place. All Carter had to do was to...er, fill it out. But I do spy a wee bit of Gaultier-like pointed padding on the..er, tips. LOL
@YesSirPlease: yeah, actually I did! I had to laugh when I heard Debra say it, because it was true to a certain extent -- well, at the bust tips, anyway. A woman with an awesome body like Carter's would definitely need padding at the tips in such a tight outfit, or else things would get too clingy and trashy-looking. But hell, never mind the Wonder Woman bustier -- I'm too busy looking at Lyle Waggoner, LOL
@Booncier: Try Googling results of the key phrases "Lyle Waggoner" and "Playgirl"? (And click on the "images" rather than "Web" category.) Waggoner's in his 70s now, and is living the quiet life of a sculptor/retiree. But after seeing those photos, I feel like saying to him, "WTF, GRANDPA?! Daaaamn!"
Um, slight boo boo they didn't catch, when Wonder Woman "got shot", she clutches her right shoulder. The guy got shot at her from the left, she couldn't have gotten hit in the right shoulder, her right shoulder was facing the book shelf.
The Island of "Lesbos", Very offensive there is an aswer of truth to this only one male has ever actualy been on the island he was half-god. i.e. HERCULES
What the? Wonder Woman and her sister come from Paradise Island, in the Bermuda triangle. Lesbos is a real island near Greece and has nothing to do with the WW mythology. The only man on the Amazon's home island up through 1942 was Major Trevor.
This is the first time I've actually seen this show/Wonderwoman... she's pretty hot even in today's standards. Did he shoot her boobs? I guess that's bullet-proof.
And that guy is that dad from Homeward Bound and Airplanes!
I hate to bust the bad guy's bubble, but everybody knows you can't shoot wonder woman, even on an off day, the Major whatsis would have known she wasn't shot when he went to "check on her".
it would have been cool but amazingly debra winger hated being on woner woman check out the debra winger on letterman or lynda carter on larry king. very sad and tragically kiled anyh chance of a wonder spinoff.
Better two that one. Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl formed the duet to heroines but powerful and beautiful of the history of the cinema or of television. It hurts that they didn´t put them both as main characters of the first season, because the character of Wonder Girl had much potential and the show had surely called "Wonder Sisters". It is a shame that the producers forgot the character. But the fans has not forgotten it. Because Wonder Girl is an unquestionable part of Wonder Woman.
There are so many episodes I liked, these are just part episodes. I would love the full episodes

did u guys see when Debra was a guest at the Letterman show and saying that her costume is not as SPECIAL as Lynda's.
When Debra moved to the left, her boobs moved to the left! When Lynda moved the left, her boobs stayed in the CENTER.

No way to know seeing that Loni Anderson never bared her breasts. Linda Carter wins by default.
