@BurnTheLeaves Redemption cards. You have to scratch the code and redeem it online. When the card is made they will mail it to you.

Type in THE CUP HOCKEY HOBBY BOX BREAK CARDS NHL. Watch one of those videos and look at the cards that come out.

The point is that poeple collect cards with the players game used patches, jerseys & autographs on the card.

Sometimes people can't afford the boxes so they watch and live vicariously through the videos.

@chri5784 Its jus seems weird to me lol.. I mean I use to collect when I was younger so I understand the excitement when it comes to openning a new pack to see if ya got anything good.. But for a cult following of people jus watching strangers open packs over the net is jus weird to me..

Some of the cards that come out of these packes sell for $1000's if not 10's of $1000's of dollars on ebay. More than just watching to see what you get. It is exciting for a lot of people to see if a big Monster card comes out.
