If a soldier buys his won Dragon armor & gets hurt in combat, All military benefits are for fitted. Where are told. YOU cant use this armor in combat. We are told that its a band armor & when you get shot. You lose all military benefits..
PST. I dont read comments over my posts. To me its a 1 way conversation.
The Army has a long history of giving contracts to companies that make the cheap shit. The Bradley, humvee and stryker all have fuel mileage and armor problems.
You Dumbass. at 2:46 you say independant testing. It didnt pass independant testing. It passed Private closed testing supervised only by you. It failed the independant tests then it was recalled later.
If Pinnacle wants to put this great armor in the hands of our soldiers, they need to fix the ROOT of the problem, the adhesive.
Discs fell out of position after exposure to oil and extreme temperatures, which is why the armor test failed. The army soaks the armor in gas as part of
its test to see if the armor can hold up under all possible battlefield conditions i.e. oil, high and low temps, saltwater.
Pinnacle needs to sew each disc in place instead of gluing them, fixing the problem.
Stitching the discs into the vest COULD be a sewing nightmare. Depends how you do it.
defensetech (dot) org/archives/003504.html
The easy way is to sew each disc into its own pouch, then stitch them to the inside vest layer like buttons (protecting thread behind discs). Relatively straightforward and no adhesive is needed.
Hence they would stay in place regardless of hazard, thus passing the standard military armor test and removing the single major obstacle for fielding the armor.
A REALLY quick fix is to reverse the sequence in which the discs are laid out
during production. The current configuration shows that the discs are laid out from top to bottom, with the top section of each disc exposed. If you laid out the discs from bottom to top, the bottom of each disc would stick out into the yellow shrinkwrap layer and would thus be supported if the adhesive failed.
Since plates could fall if armor is upside down, its not as good as sewing each plate in its own pouch.
shame u haven't got the patent for the British d30 much better that this crap and its scheduled to be modified for heavy armored everything for our troop lol it will make the bullets bounce off us. yet another British idea that will get stolen no doubt. good luck with dragon-skin no one wants to buy it too expensive....
LOL this is like in movie, good vs bad...and the bad ones are in military some...and a good ones (ppl tax payers) are trying to fight it...but just like in movies government will make it settle down over time and close eyes infront of this cuz they r corupt bitches just like every other government in the world... FUCK THEM!!!
what these videos dont tell you is that dragon in the army test was soaked in motor oil 2 weeks prior to the tests. This also means the army wanted the vests 2 weeks before test day, which pinn. armor refused to do, but the army said if we dont get them 2 weeks in advance then we will never consider them
Supposely, the military tested twelve or so 7.62x54R type rounds that penetrated Dragon Skin body armor. I believe that might be level IV ammunition against a level III vest(sov 2000)?
Also, there are claims that colder temperatures or higher can weaken the vest(ceramic disks) or that oblique shots can cause penetration of dragon skin between disks.
Obviously, the military isn't officially releasing exact details? I'm thinking they don't want to pay the $7,800 cost of the body armor vs $1,800 or so for Interceptor with ceramic strike plates.
if i where that interviewer i wouls seriously kick the cunt outa that specky four eyed old twat for bein such a loser, ''my company is better than dragon skin'', if it is then fucking explain the amout of deaths ur fucking pussy armour is producing oh my god i want to kill this guy for being suck an absloute dick, they cant take it that dragon skin is the best body armour in the world, we are the people, and we are the ones risking our lives in Iraq, give us what we need
i personally hate America for everything it has done, but this just makes it down even lower, their basically murdering people for money and new technology, bunch of pussys, they are scared of dragon skin taking over that bankrupt interceptor company
DRAGON SKIN, DRAGON SKIN, DRAGON SKIN
we want to win this war?hugh? America fuck off and give these troops what they need, they need dragon skin. why dont you go out and fight or are you scared u might get shot?assholes go fuck yourselves twats
It's all logical; if marines wear dragon skins in iraq the death numbers will drop, that means that the U.S government is going to be spending more money on the monthly payment for soldiers, becuase for a fact, they will live longer. 2nd dragon skin armor is more expensive then the intercetor armor. Third the U.S army is currently working on other projects and don't have budget to use dragon skin on a mass scale. Conclusion: the U.S army doesn't have enough money at this time.
oh yeah? why don't you go fight a war instead of typing bullshit comfortably sitting in front of your computer.. then we'll see if you will ask for more security, for more life protection.
dude, Dragonskin will save your life if you are a serviceman. This is for your benefit to get the job done and come alive.
I have high respect for those in the call of duty, If I had the money, I would have every single US infantryman wearing the best of the best, which in my opinion is dragonskin.w
So he works out a contract with a company that makes body armor for the military, then he goes to work for them....seems like bullshit to me, I call shenanigans. Dragon skin is the future, this shouldn't be about money, its about lives.
I have an even better idea!
Let's stop sending troops to foreign lands to fight wars that are basically tribal wars.
