I just dont have more words... Thank You Marcel Marceau --The Poet of the Silence--

    R.I.P

  • Marcel Marceau is related to me though my grandmother. Her name is Sharon Perrotte but her maiden name is Sharon Marceau. That is her cousin. We have the blood tests and birth certificates to prove it. I wish i would have met the guy he must have been pretty cool by the way my grandma puts it. He was fun to hang out with when they were kids.

  • His real name wasn't Marceau...

  • are you related to marcel marceau through your grandmother?

  • Yeah. Im also related to Cotton Mather thought my other grandmother.

  • HAHAHA LOL

  • May he rest in peace...NO, NO...

For the benefit of mankind... May he come back ASAP... We need artists of that caliber to help us bear the crap put out by those that want to destroy 95% of humanity, i.e. "The Builderburgs"

  • his last name was Mangel. His father died in a concentration camp. He and his brother took the last name after a General in the French rev. He spoke great english and acted as Interpreter for Patton's army(7th.) Truly a amazing man he will be missed.

  • wow rip.

  • Great

  • May Marcel Marceau rest in peace and forever live in our memory...

  • I could not imagine the thinking in the mind of a man of this caliber.

His style was his own, and his presence is seen in so many ways in modern performance art.

He will always be remembered and loved by the millions who appreciate his work, and his impact.

    Rest in peace, Marcel.

  • to say there are better mimes right now then him is ironic, We learn from the past, Marcel learned from himself.

Hes a original and will be loved by many people.

  • Marceau was a student of Etienne Decroux. He did not teach himself. Although he did create the character "Bip" which has been copied by many

  • he's the greatest super genius of all time.

  • This is just lovely...

  • Marty Feldman was superb too!

  • Merci beaucoup, c'est parfait!
