Bet sizing, previous history, table position, body language - He probably put him on a range of hands including medium - small pp's and stabbed at 88 as his read, even if he had 66-77-99 it is basically the same read and commentators would of said "good read by bobby" the fact he guessed spot on 88 is lucky in a way but was still a good read to put him on the range of hands 66-99
