DRUMMERS- if you notice Chad's drumming through that whole outro is very groove-oriented. He could punch things harder but he decides to remain locked in that sixteenth note drive. Really it's kind of humbling for his chops. His path back into groove @ 3:38 is really a good solid delivery.

Key of A it looks/sounds.. Just slide down on on the A string on the 12th fret. and play that same note twice in eigths staccato (mute right after playing) and play that set of eigths twice (try this on the D string fifth fret A note). It sounds pretty damn good to me. listen to the sound to get it just right.
