Actually I can think of a few videos where the singer wasn't lipsynching to a backing track, but that's mainly because they didn't actually make a music video for that song and it was compiled from either live concert footage or, in Abba's case, sections form several of their other videos.... And as for the Beastie Boys song Sabotage, they're not even shown singing in the video.
