  • @webmoss The economy is real bad here, and it is a good way to earn extra money. Dont get me wrong, Im sure there are egomaniacs out there that act like they are John Wayne. Lucky for me, I have learned from veterans of this business the proper way to act. I was taught to be polite, and professional.

  • So you can't get fired for bringing weapons. I'm bringing mace and a baton and a tazer.

sir im here to serve you some divorce papers..

that fucking bitch did what? die asshole!! hey kids look what ur mom did to me again she put you up to it huh kids....

ah yes a classic example of how battered mens syndrome effect men

i feel bad for the inocent process server he didnt deserve that... the wife probably did though

  • im also in san diego and am about to go on a ride-along with a process server to experience a service before joining. I am sure I can handle it but I have been told to always be prepared and never turn your back on the person being served. shes totally right about calling the local authorities, wish me luck!

  • I am a lawyer and it seems to me that this kind of situation can happen anywhere. I am writing from Brazil where process servers are civil servants, and recently at least two of them (one being a woman with more than 20 years experience) were shot to death. She was shot 6 times as soon as she entered her car; the murderer reloaded the gun and shot her another 6 times. He was arrested and said "She humiliated me, so I killed her".

  • the guy who got shot, with his buddy, was in a place he should not have been, with an order to post, something he had to get because he was unable to get the guy. the guy who got killed was not a process server, he was the friend of the idiot attorney whoud thought it would be a good idea to bring someone else to confront someone on the edge!

  • @TheTIMWING Thank you for the additional information regarding these two very tragic instances. Your explaination of the details is in fact a supporting point of process server safety. It appears that a little bit of proper safety training and even more likely just a little common sense may have prevented both of these instances. HIRE PROFESSIONALS and PROMOTE SAFETY!!!

  • Very good information that could save a Process Servers life. Thank you
