I was gutted when I heard. I mean most of the time you'd buy records and listen to them first. Not Nu Groove, you knew it was going to be quality. Straight into the bag, and usually the first on the 1 and 2's as soon as I got home, after a cup of tea and a spliff of course!!

Pure Deep House niceness from one of the great labels in House and Garage music - Nu Groove.
House and Garage in all its formats at that time from 1986 to 1996 was so head of its time. It really was. I don't think that the House and Garage music of today can match this quality that came out of that period. There have been times that records have been very close. But for sheer quality and originality - its a hard time to beat. And to think that todays dj/producers have better equipment!
Thank you intentlyserious, I did not know that the name of the sampled song. I know, and I have the Carl Bean's song in 12". (I found it on a street corner, among with other dance 12 inch singles in a milk crate!) I haven't been so lucky lately.

METRO "$1.15 Please" side A- second track "Brownstone Express" brings a tear to my eye, so beautiful, very romantic... -AND- CODE 6 "Forgotten Moments" side A- first track "Forgotten moments" so tranquil and lovely, yet really good for head-knodding... UTOPIA PROJECT "Files" side A- first track "File #1" seriously deep and romantic... side B- first track "File #3" quirky bugged out tech-house, very engaging!
