@bboyCaPo14 lol what have u done? btw how u know we are using the same firmwares? u cant know what i've installed right now ;)
i was using "CF-Root-XX_XEU_JPY-v1.3-BusyBox-1.17.1.tar" - so no, we weren't using the same kernels at least ;)
my last notice for you: go read and learn on the net how to flash your phone. you should know how these things work before you work on your phone. you maybe have soft-bricked your phone. go and search for that on net!
Hey!! it's me again sorry i have one more question:
after rooting my phone everything looks perfect, but when i call anyone or get a call from anyone i can't hear the other person's voice on the phone unless that i put it in speaker!!
This happens only after rooting the 2.2 firmware, in the 2.1 i don't have that same problem or the like.
@bboyCaPo14 i have no idea what may cause that? what firmwares are u using? maybe one of them is broken or just not for your phone (captivate, vibrant..). sidenote: if you're rooting your phone, why not using the actual software (2.2.1?).
@darkfellowinfo Im using firmware 2.2!! I think it should work since you are using the same firmwares. Where did you get the file named CF-Root-JPM-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1? i got it from 4share.com. 2.2.1 sounds good and i think you have a video about how to do it too, ill check out the video and install the software if possible.
@bboyCaPo14 is it really 2.1 or is it already 2.2.1? although 2.2 is kinda outdated now, theres already 2.2.1 out there, and quite nice speedmods (no lagfix (oclf) needed any more)
@bboyCaPo14 ah then u have the official version of android on your phone. 2.2.1 is only available if you flash your phone yourself (needed software is out there on the internet on public development sites -like ww w.xda -developers com). OCLF is called "one click lag fix". it helps u to improve the performance of your phone with only a few clicks. if you're not common with all that i'd recommend you to read into this topic if you want to flash your phone yourself - its not a clic&run procedere;)
@darkfellowinfo I see. Well i guess i have to read a lot about flashing phones because i cannot do it with out a guide like your video, for example. Thank you so much for your help =)
dankeschön läuft wieder alles :)

what do we have to download or put in the pda section
roshtheman786 10 months ago
@roshtheman786 I'd recommend installing 2.2.1 if you are handy with those flashings - as it won't need any thirdparty lagfix like oclf.

NVM I GOT IT!!
question: what does the OCLF app do? what is it for?
I didn't use it at all and my phone is working fine.It has root permissions and everything, so i don't know why you used it.
Thanks for the video though. It was helpful.

@darkfellowinfo I knew about this update(2.2) through samsung kies and that's how i got it. How do you get 2.2.1? sounds very good.
