  • 3) pretty much the whole thing made me really squeamish especially when he is describing the surgery towrds the end

  • 2) i think because there was so much new thinking going around and things that seemed impossible b4 were now possible so people werent afraid to try new ideas a nd new methods

  • 1) incoculation was a new method to get rid of small pox. we have vaccines now so i dont think we do anything like it now but a vaccine is sessentially exposing someone to a small amount of the disease so yes i guess
